Progress Reports

(It's been exactly 14 months since I last updated this. I've still had a lot of ongoing health problems, but my updates have gotten a bit quicker. I'm so sorry about Kagome's Blood. It's in such a sorry state that it's a huge job and my memory - or rather, lack thereof - has to work overtime and I haven't had the energy and time required. I do hope to get back to it soon though.)

If you are family: Please walk on by. You will thank me for the warning. Reading my stuff will require purification by your local preacher. I keep my writing life separate for good reason. If you continue on, you have no one to blame but yourself.

If you're a fan: This is the best place to get short and quick immediate updates about my writing. You've probably noticed that my hopes for posting and the reality are two very different things.

Some of my works are still up on mediaminer, but not completely. They will be removed eventually. I had my account on AFF removed years ago.

Fandoms I read: Inuyasha, Noblesse, Kuroshitsuji, Loveless, Crimson Spell, Viewfinder, Koi Suru Boukun, Asterisk, Fake, Avengers (movie), Thor (movie), Ayatsuri Sakon, Beelzebub. I just can't get into Bleach, Harry Potter or other popular fandoms.

About 'Kagome's Blood': This story is the victim of Murphy's Law. The site it had originally been posted on crashed and garbled the story while, at the same time, my brother accidentally wiped out the drive that held the story. Also, the backup somehow became trashed. So, three copies gone bad and one chapter lost. I now have the lost chapter and a copy of most the story from sweet fans, but there is so much work to be done on it. That is one of the reasons why it is slow to update. The other reason is that I'm not well, so concentrating on preparing, editing and doing whatever else the chapters need is difficult.

Other Stories: Anything that is too hardcore for this site goes on Archive of Our Own, including random chapters of stories I'm posting here.

Personal Note: To you, my readers and reviewers, I am eternally grateful. With seizures destroying my memory, vocabulary, and grammar skills, your readership and feedback have been a great encouragement. Thank you for sticking with me for so long. Along those lines, you should know that years ago I had planned to retire from fandom and writing, and I had most definitely never planned to post on this site. However, some bullies decided to target me with their ideology that if you flame an author enough, the author will stop writing. Uh...They certainly did not know how contrary I am. Years later, after planning to retire, not only am I still writing fanfiction, but I'm posting here. Thank you, bullies. It's all their fault for bringing out my stubborn streak. So yeah... As long as you keep up with your antics, I will not go away. For anyone who truly loves writing fanfiction, don't give up and don't give in to the trolls. Take it to the wall!

Always look for a silver lining. It will keep your head above water.
