![]() Author has written 20 stories for Naruto, Twilight, Fullmetal Alchemist, Gakuen Alice, Shugo Chara!, Death Note, Prince of Tennis, Rise of the Guardians, and Frozen. IMPORTANT NOTES! As of March 1, 2013 (Updated March 29, 2013) High School Insanity will be put on hold until further notice. I am officially on writing hiatus, though for how long I will be, I can't really tell for sure. I have a few more Hell Weeks on my back, and my finals are in a few day's time. This means projects and papers are due left and right, and professors dish out exams faster than armalite rifles. Unfortunately, this means no updates until all my requirements are cleared, with the last deadline for the academic year being on 8th April. I know it seems weird because Filipino school calendar are different, and by this point summer vacation should have officially began, but tell that to my Uni and their stupid ideas on autonomy or something. In addition, I am in a desperate need for an HSI muse, so until I stumble upon one or squeeze enough brain juice from my almost nonexistent brain, I will refrain from penning down any chapter in fear of pointless fillers that would deviate from the plot. No one wants that, right? So until I've sorted out all these personal issues, I hope you lovely people will bear with me. And I apologize again for being such a crappy author. No hate, please? :( *Cue, puppy dog/Puss In Boots face* (I am officially labeling this as the Important Notes Corner, even if there isn't so much of a "corner" anyway.) Profile Hi there! I'm FanFiction.net's resident Onion, Alois! You may know me over the interwebs as Alois, Alois-pyon, Alo, Onion, Onion-sama, or some other ridiculous nickname coined on my behalf that I forgot to mention. I'm a teenaged otaku extraordinaire from the wonderful islands of the Philippines, where it's scorching hot all year round and bikinis are on sale even on Christmas. I am currently attending Uni, which takes up so much of my time and brain cells, and is also partly why I could not update as frequently as I would like. I am a former Computer Science major, until I realized how much of a horrible combination I make with that course, and decided to shift to Organizational Communication--kind of like Mass Communication, only it's more public relation than anything else. I plan to take up Law as my graduate study. Then I want to rule the world afterwards. Well that escalated just right... I am a 9gag fanatic and an avid Kpop enthusiast, so you may see me incorporating jargons and groups in my stories and sentences every once in a while. If some of my terminologies are lost on you, though, well that's really beyond me. So moving on, let's do these profile thingies I both hate and like with a passion! (Yes, I am that contradictory.) Name: Alois Big surprise that there are other Asians outside the Chinese, the Japanese, and the Koreans, right? I know, I was floored. Height: ... A bit of trivia: I am short enough to be mistaken as a primary schooler--on a regular basis. I look absolutely nothing my age. Also, I eat an elephant a day, but am considered underweight. I honestly have no idea why, and I'm not trying to come off as the arrogant prick who waves her crazy metabolism in fat people's faces. I think I'm really just unhealthy. Languages: Filipino, English, Japanese (conversational), Korean (minimal) Contact: alois.onion@ Before anyone gets the wrong idea--seriously, who uses a vegetable for an email address?--this is not my professional email address. I have more sensibility than this. But on the interwebs, I am more known as such, and so I made an email address for this purpose. Capiche? Future Projects Title: Through the Hour Glass (tentative) Summary: The gears of fate are turning. By the will of the spirits, the restoration of Avatar Korra's bending befell upon the summer solstice, whence the physical and spiritual world are closer than ever before. Drawn further by the gravitational force of the Avatar's prowess, the two worlds finally collide and collapse on one another, creating a rift in the space time continuum. Team Avatar finds themselves swallowed by this black hole, and propelled into the chasms of time previously unbeknownst to them--a time before the era of love and peace had come intro fruition; a time before Republic City; a time where Master Waterbender Katara is engaged to Fire Lord Zuko. Believing she is sent by the spirits to right this mistake, Korra takes it upon herself to break apart this engagement to ensure that her time, the future, remains in tact. She must do whatever it is in her power if Tenzin, Lin Bei Fong, General Iroh, and the rest of her friends were to ever exist. Korra's nonexistent matchmaking skills are put to the test as she attempts to rekindle the young love between her previous reincarnation, Avatar Aang, and Master Katara, whilst taking into account the balance of the entire world hinging upon the union of the Waterbending Princess and the Fire Lord. And not even all her backfiring matchmaking schemes will deter her. Unfortunately for Korra, the more she attempts to push Katara towards Aang, the more the Waterbender seems to gravitate to her polar opposite. A frustrated and confused Mako is not helping the situation either. Preview: (1) "I am not in love with him." Katara said with an air of finality, effortlessly shifting from one complicated kata to the next. "We're simply good friends." Korra watched in amazement as the Waterbender summoned a slender stream of her element, guiding it around her body like a slithering snake. She cleared her throat, "Exactly!" the female Avatar nodded, "Which is why I don't understand why you have to marry him! I've always pegged you as someone who marries for love, Master Katara. It's what you told me countless of times!" Katara relinquished her control, and the water fell back on the river lifelessly. She was frowning, "Well Korra, I don't know how it was in your world, in your time but right here, right now... it's more complicated than that. And..." she gulped, resuming her previous stance. The water obliged to her silent command, "I don't think... this marriage is so bad either." Korra's arctic eyes widened. 'Is she actually blushing' (2) "It's for the best." The Fire Lord shrugged, finishing the document with an elegant flourish of his signature. He paused briefly, allowing the ink to dry. "Besides, if I may be blunt, I don't see what's so bad about it either." He stowed the paper away, reaching for another paperwork. Mako crossed his legs, contemplating on the Firebender's words. "So you're saying it could have been worse?" The younger lad supplied. The Fire Lord shrugged again. "That's one way of putting it." "You don't seem to be so put off by this marriage. It's a marriage for convenience, for Agni's sake. I thought you would have put up a fight." Zuko planted his golden gaze firmly on the younger Firebender. Mako abruptly scrambled to sit more primly, unsettled by the sovereign's scrutiny. "There are more important matters than my personal happiness, Mako." He enunciated, and Mako felt himself shrink beneath his powerful gaze. This was the man who established Republic City. This man was legend. "And besides," Zuko added, removing his gaze from the boy's person, and trailing it outside, "I told you, it's not so bad." As he spoke, his voice lost its authoritative quality, and all Mako saw at that moment was a timid boy, contented with what he has. He knew that smile. He knew it too well. "You're happy." He stated, "You're happy you'll be wedded with her." Zuko's eyes widened, and his unmarred cheek colored. The Fire Lord choked. "I don't know what you're talking about." He managed to say, after coughing generously. Mako could not believe what he was hearing. |
