Among-Stars

So in the game of life, life always wins. Honestly, I started reading on FanFiction when I was only 10 years old. Then at 13 I decided to try my hand at writing stories of my own. Now at 22, I would love to continue on, but there's just so many things that have gotten in the way, making it virtually impossible for me to keep up. I can't promise updates, I can't even promise that I'll write regularly. I don't want to stop, but it's the most logically thing to do, instead of keeping you all waiting around for updates that won't happen.

I've been struggling with not only trying and failing miserably at balancing life, but also with my lack of motivation and inspiration. I guess at one point, you kind of have to grow up and become invested in new things, which also means letting go of some of the things from your childhood. I am by no means the world's greatest writer but I enjoyed my time on FanFiction and I do think it helped me grow my skills somewhat. I will always have a love for the stories, the people, and the world of fictional movies, tv shows, books and more, but I think it's time for me to be an adult about it and face the facts: I can't juggle the fantasy and the reality successfully.

With that being said, I love and will miss you all. All the reviewers and readers and friends I've made and hopefully shall keep moving on. I am going to keep the completed stories up, but delete the ones unfinished. If you ever want to contact me and maybe take a story off my hands - redo it, or whatever - just send an email, I'll still get them. I still have tons of half started stories saved as well as the completed ones so you never know, maybe one day you'll see me writing again.

A Tribute To HSM

On January 20th, 2006, a movie came out. It wasn't just any Disney movie but High School Musical. On top of having a cast of fresh, talented, (and did I mention hot?) stars, it had a decent message and songs that were contagious. The movie was in fact so big, it went world wide, topped the charts, won awards, and even had teachers and parents singing the songs. It touched the hearts and souls of countless people around the world and racked in tons of money for Disney in the form of two DVDs, a soundtrack, countless posters, shirts, bags, and not to mention more publicity. High School Musical...some may say it's childish to like a Disney movie so much, but I think not. I'm proud to say I loved the movie, and would like to say Happy Two Year And A Day Anniversary HSM.
