Feb 2013: I know, I know - I have some 'splainin' to do. My personal life has gone a bit of a rough spell and, in prioritizing what's important in my life, I've had to step away from writing for a while. I hate - HATE - leaving you guys hanging on "All Fired Up" for as long as I have. I don't have it in me to officially put it on hiatus, because one never knows when the mood will strike and I'll get that next update done for it.

I've read through the awesome reviews you've left for Sassafrass Junction, the one that started it all for me, as well as HBIC, DDC, and AFU. I really, really appreciate all the kind words and comments; your support means more than you'll ever know.

Writing is in my heart and my blood and, someday - hopefully sooner rather than later, there will be more to come.

Sept. 22, 2012: Managed to update "All Fired Up" once over the summer, didn't I? I suck. This publishing thing became a little time-consuming, on top of the day job and real life and all that. Just letting you know that while updates are few and far between, I am still continuing that story, don't give up hope on me yet. For those of you looking for "Scent of Fear", continue to PM me, and I will give you the details as to where to track that down. It still exists (just on a more more protected, mature content-friendly site). It's also been updated since its time on here on FFN, well, once, last February, and it may eventually get updated again some day because I love the hell out of that story too. In the meantime, please feel free to keep checking my website for details on my upcoming books, and OH!!! I'm now officially listed on Amazon now, go figure! Yes, I totally SQUEEEEd when I spotted that. I've also created a Goodreads account, because apparently that's what all the cool authors do now and it looks really kinda fun. Please do look me up on those sites - find, like, friend, follow, *coughREVIEWcough, however it goes, because I wouldn't be doing this without the support I'd gleaned from you wonderful fandom people in the first place!

June 12, 2012: It's come to my attention that some stories are being pulled down by the FFN powers-that-be. Should this occur, you will find "Sassafrass Junction" posted at The Writers Coffee Shop site ( Www Dot thewriterscoffeeshop dot com / library ). That's the only story I have posted there right now, I believe, but I will probably back up the rest of my fics there if this censorship issue continues.

You will also find several more fics from your favorite authors posted at TWCS such as that of my beta, Mynxi, whose "Saving Bella" unfortunately was pulled today.

Also, I've been super busy with my day job and working on what will be my next published original work (coming Nov 2012, YAY! - if you'd like to know where you can find out more details, follow my FB page or blog, read on for links), but I WILL be continuing work on "All Fired Up" this summer! xoxoxo MsEC/JMcK

Update - April 23, 2012: If you read "Bella Whitlock HBIC" and "All Fired Up", this is not news. My first original fiction is coming out in an anthology May 7th. Considering I've just submitted a novella manuscript to the same publisher, I'd say this means I'm in this for the long haul. Please be assured I'm not abandoning the fandom, and I will not be pulling any of the stories you see posted below. They are staying here for your enjoyment, and I will still continue work on "All Fired Up", though the updates will likely continue to be sporadic due to the time I'm spending on my original works.

July 22, 2011: Ask me no questions and I'll tell you no lies. She's ba-a-a-a-ack!

While "The Scent of Fear" will, regrettably, not be making a reappearance at this site, "Bella Whitlock HBIC" is officially off of hiatus and I have resumed work on it, as well as "All Fired Up". I've missed the fandom, especially you, my super awesome readers. Special shoutie to those of you who have not only re-read "Sassafrass Junction" but made a point of letting me know when you've done so because you missed me so damn hard. I only hope my fuckery continues to keep y'all entertained.

UPDATE - 12/6/11*

I haven't forgotten y'all. I promise. There are some other things going on at the moment, GOOD things, but it's cut a little bit into my fanfic writing. Updates will be forthcoming, it's just gonna take a bit longer.
