![]() Author has written 16 stories for Chronicles of Narnia, Song of the Lioness, Harry Potter, King Arthur, Star Wars, Hunger Games, Macbeth, 100, Hobbit, and Teen Wolf. FORMERLY KNOWN AS: Dryad Warrior Queen Now, to start things off: Views on Slash and Incest: Point blank, I don't write it. Slash just isn't my thing, and incest goes against all of my beliefs. My story "Magnificent, Gentle, Just, Valiant" is not intended to be interpreted as incest. If that is the way you see it, please be aware that that is not what I intended. The relationships of Peter and Susan, and Edmund and Lucy are to be viewed merely as close sibling bonds. That's it! Me: I love books and movies. I have a strange addiction to notebooks, and am a firm believer that you can never have too many. Unfortunately for me, I seem to prefer little appreciated pairings and little appreciated characters. I live in various states of denial, such as the deaths of some of my preferred characters. I also find that I dislike many characters in books I feel that the author intended for people to like. On my writing... Let's just say that it improves over time, editing and tons of rewriting. "Survival", for you few people who read it, has been removed. It wasn't as popular as I'd originally hoped. My apologies to anyone who liked it! Also, I only have the "Macbeth" fic up because I figured "Well, I wrote it, might as well post it!" Sadly, Emeth from my fic "Tarkaan in Archenland" is not mine. However, since I did give him a name and a personality (albeit a name stolen from another character), I choose to pretend that he is. Ultimately though, he is Jack's, with the exception of his personality. You can also find me on AO3, under the pen-name "Lionheart_Rising". I post everything I write on fanficition, AO3 and to my tumblr, but there shouldn't really be any differences between them. However, most of my older works haven't made it onto AO3, and probably won't any time soon. And yes, I have done Hades/Persephone AUs for two different fandoms. They're pretty different though, as far as I'm concerned. My Narnia Timeline: I have decided to work it out so that the Pevensies ruled Narnia for twenty years. Upon arrival in Narnia, Lucy was 8 going on 9, Edmund was 10 almost 11, Susan was 13 and Peter was 14. They were 16, 18, 21 and 22 respectively during The Horse and His Boy. During my fic "Tarkaan in Archenland", Lucy is about 26 and Edmund is 28. My personal canon is that though none of them ever married, Peter was engaged and Edmund fell in love but couldn't marry her. Originally, I had it so that Lucy's love was killed in battle, and he was, but perhaps there are other things on the horizon for her. As for Susan, well, she's chosen not to reveal her personal life to me at this juncture. I understand that these might disagree with Lewis's original timeline, but he makes it incredibly difficult to find out extra details, so I am claiming willful ignorance in this matter. I will not mess too heavily with the personalities of the characters (as I have always seen them), merely certain facts pertaining to their ages and time frames. If you really want to, you can follow me on tumblr! I'm thenotcanadian and I guarantee nothing about what you'll find, but it's a good time. My askbox is open and I'd love to talk to you. I also have a writing blog: And finally, I am a Cubs fan. No matter their record, they are the best. |
