Greetings and salutations!

This is usually the part where you discover something about that person who's story you're reading or who is reading/commenting/following/favoriting one of yours (or your virtual buddies, whatever the case may be). Or, if the person you're currently profile stalking is feeling extra snarky or quippish, have you read something like "GET OFF MY LAWN...er, profile! Ha! Made ya jump! Oh, you were expecting that? Never mind." Anyway, I'll go ahead and oblige now...mostly because I'm currently too lazy to write a latter. (If you're still reading this, have two more cookies.)

So...basic info about me. Well, for starters I am a SDA Christian. (Aka: Seventh-Day Adventist. Yup, we go to church on Saturday and believe Sabbath is from sundown Friday to sundown Saturday [Exodus 20:8- 11 (Ten Commandments chapter), and Genesis 1,2:1-3 (Creation Week)] As for the "Adventist" part, we believe the dead are, well, dead; and that Jesus will return on an unspecified day to rescue those who are still alive, resurrect those who died with faith in Him, and take everyone back to Heaven for a reunion PARTY...and some much needed therapy and Q&As sessions [Genesis 2:7,3:17-19 Ecclesiastes 9:5, Job 14:5-12, John 11;11-15, 20:1-18 (some "dead as dead" stuff); Matthew 16:24-28, 22:23-32, 24: 29-31,36-44, 26:59-64, Luke 14:12-14, 17:22-36, 18:1-8, John 5:19-30, 6:39-58,61-65, 10:20-27 (some 2nd Coming and Resurrection)]) There's no doubt lots more, but that's all I'm going to cite for now. Feel free to look up and read on your own time if you choose, though I recommend reading chapters surrounding and doing your own further study if you feel the desire. After all, "head knowledge" is completely useless without an understanding of the Author and His character...and from there, taking time to develop a relationship and trust. My best advice on that: tell Him exactly how you're feeling and what you're thinking. Sure, He already knows, but honesty is crucial as trust doesn't have a hope to develop without it...even if it means the process involves tearing out everything you "know" and starting a new foundation from scratch.

Where was I?

Ah, yes. Basic info. As far as about me personally, there are only a few things left. Well, I'm female and a Millennial. Oh, and I've been diagnosed with Aspergers...so that also makes me an Aspie? Asperigian? Eh, doesn't really matter much to me...though "Aspie" sounds like a "cute" way of saying some sort of *gasping!* terminal illness, whereas an "Asperigian" just sounds like some sort of alien. (Ironic, 'cause there are times I could swear I'm half Vulcan. Moving on.) The "best" way I know of describing what Aspergers is would be to say it's like high-functioning autism on the autism spectrum, but not necessarily simply "high-functioning autism". Sort of like...a square is a type of rectangle, but a rectangle isn't necessarily a square, nor could it ever be a trapezoid despite them all being quadrilaterals. To further complicate the analogy, throw in rhombi and parallelograms, convert to human terms, and you're in the right range, so to speak. In other words, I can't really tell you "what it is" or "what it's like" because it's "all I know." (If you're still reading, have three more cookies; if you grasped any of that, take the whole plate of them.)

Why tell you all that? Well, perspective plays a huge role in perception; and as you may have already discovered, both tend to leak into and occasionally color what's produced--sometimes favorably, others...not so much. (That said, if you are aware of anything that needs correcting, clarification, or explanation, please don't hesitate to send me a friendly dose of constructive criticism via PM or review!)
