Well I decided to update this after discovering some terrible news today that made me feel like I needed to say something.

Yesterday, February 1st 2015 at approximately 4:34 PM, the world lost a unique and talented person who has been a great inspiration to me ever since I first discovered his work. Monty Oum, animator for Rooster Teeth and creator of RWBY, Dead Fantasy, and Haloid, has passed away. Although I never had the pleasure of meeting him, I hold a massive amount of respect for him, his work, and his story. He was a self taught man who dropped out of school and became an internet animating legend. His animations partly inspired me to become a computer animator myself, although I will probably never be as good or as passionate as he was. His death is a great loss to the animation world and he will be greatly missed. Monty burned bright in his short life and left behind an amazing legacy of work that will be remembered for years to come.

We miss you already, Monty! Rest In Peace.

So yeah, I'm a little shocked by the sudden passing and if anybody hasn't experienced Monty's work I highly encourage you to do so.

I'm 29 years old and I've been a fanfiction regular for a long time; it's become a substantial aspect of my life. I'm a big fan of anime and video games and other such stuff and probably will be for the rest of my life.

Currently, I'm engaged to a wonderful woman who, for some reason, is capable of putting up with my crazy idiocy.

Other than that, I don't really think there's anything special about me.
