So, um... Yeah. Hey. Probably wondering what's going on? I suppose it's been a while since anything got updated, and I should probably at least try and explain something. I'm done with RWBY. I was done in v5, but v6 seemed like it was maybe starting to improve things. But volume 7? No. I'm done. I've accepted the fact that RWBY will never get better, and the show is more concerned with worshipping its own titular four over writing decent characters or having consistency, and I have no desire to support that. Further, I have a hard time honestly putting any more effort into fan work than the creators are willing to put into their own works. Naruto might be typical Shonen shlock, but fuck, you can at least see that Kishimoto enjoyed what he did and cared about it, rather than having his fans just write the series for him. So trying to get the motivation to write anything has been a bitch. Coupled with 2020 being the year of the Great Fuckening, and, well... I don't want to say that this is it, and I'll never get back to writing. I can't promise anything either. I live in the US, and the way things are going, I might not even have internet by next year. Regardless, thank you all for supporting me. I wish I could have left this on better terms, but this is what I've got. Maybe I might get back into writing another time, either another setting or perhaps my own work, but for now, I'm just trying to survive this year. |
