![]() Author has written 2 stories for Gakuen Alice, and Princess Returning Pearl/還珠格格. Proud to be ME. Manga freak. Bookworm. Budding writer. Your typical annoying younger sister. A good sister. Trying student. A good friend. A strong girl. In all actuality, everyone possesses the key to success- "Determination". With determination, achieving your dreams isn't a far off dream. And that "Determination" actually exists in all the little things around us. The "determination" to be presentable when you brush you teeth; the "determination" to look pretty when you put on your make-up everyday; the "determination" to hold on to your papers when you write your name on everything you receive; the "determination" to be clean when you bathe everyday. The list goes on and from that you can see that actually, everyone has the chance to succeed. So, keep that fact in mind when you strive for your goals. You already have what it takes, it just needs your 100% heart. There is no such thing as complete good. And vice versa -there is no such thing as complete bad. Because that's how we are. Because that's what makes us human. So next time you meet a "bad guy", remember through the hate that at root of all that "bad" lies a piece of good for there is no complete "evil". -Yours Truly Someone once told my sister this: "Do you know that the quality of handwriting is inversely proportionate to intelligence?" *smiles* "You're handwriting is very nice." LOLS! I love making new friends, I really do, so PM me anytime (: I can't say I'm an absolutely straightforward friend but I CAN say that I treasure and value my friends more than even my life. So it's up to you to decide if being my friend is worthwhile a not. Call me Lyn :D ~α&Ω~ Okay, so I've realised a couple of things (forgive me for the randomness). There are really too many stories out there about growing up. And that these stories are actually classified under the Children Fiction category. For one, there is Peter Pan. Which simply sends my heart into a bout of bitter aching. And two, there is C.S. Lewis's renowned and ever popular series of the Chronicles of Narnia. Honestly, you can OBVIOUS tell the truth of the latter by the average age of the fanfictions in that category on this site(just to be clear, I'm not trying to be or even BEING discriminating here). While yes, I do rejoice that it means better language and all but honestly, these stories are WAAAYYY too heavy for my heart to carry. You see, I read the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe when I was, perhaps, seven and it really seemed so much like a perfect fairytale then. I mean, as compared to the other books, save Caspian(maybe), it was pretty much lighthearted. There was just a bit of touch and go on growing up and the tough side of reality in the end, but other than that, it was quite suitable for children. So imagine how upset, okay maybe not upset but kinda... I don't know, sad? Disappointed? I was when I realised that the series was going in a completely majorly opposite direction. I stopped reading after the four Pevensie children were taken out of the books. I really could not bear the thought of a Narnia without them. Hence, Voyage of the Dawn Treader would be the last movie I ever watch, if they decide to go through with the movie. And the thing is, the fanfiction here on Narnia is really either too dark or too cliche and ditzy romance. Neither of which I fancy. I must say that the one fiction under the CON category that has completely held my heart would be To War/To Defend and Protect by Gwenneth. Slip Ups would have been number one if it had not been such a terribly dark fic. And yes, by these two you should see that my favourite plot in CON fiction is the difference in the four Pevensie children. When I say difference I obviously mean how their lives in Narnia changed their character in England. Naturally that would be my main point of interest as how can you have lived as Kings and Queens in a somewhat ancient land for a decade and not have any marked difference that sets you apart? How can they have not been shunned and written off as weird when deep inside they knew they were instead special? THAT is what I want to see. Unfortunately, there haven't been much of that I've come across so if anyone knows of ANY OF THESE KIND, PLEASE DO PM ME. PLEASE. Oh, and don't forget ESPECIALLY if they are SIBLING centered fics. (I tend to read them exclusively Okay, I honestly can't believe how much time I've wasted ranting here with that pile of homework sitting on my desk but thanks for listening, or reading I should say, anyway.
