Note (11/27/2014): I'm sorry to say that "A Fox and a Shark Walk into a Bar" is basically dead. I was actually re-writing the entire thing back in 2007 and got about 3/4ths of the way through it, but then I was distracted by college and sad to say lost interest. Naruto isn't really my fandom anymore, and though I am actually writing again after over six years of not, but it's been in different fandoms and my primary posting platform is Archive Of Our Own (though I do plan to post finished works here as well). If people really want to know my planned ending for "A Fox and a Shark Walk into a Bar," I'd be willing to share it, but forewarned it was always going to be bittersweet for several of the main characters and straight-out tragedy for others.
