I am sorta new to writing fan-fiction, but have an outline ready for an idea I have in the Street Fighter universe. I hope it is good :) Years and years ago, I tried to write a Phantasy Star fiction, but I never outlined it, and got a bad case of writers block a few chapters in. Since then, I have read many posts from authors on how to get a good start on writing your first story. So to all of you out there who have an awesome idea but don't know how to write it, outline it first. No one else has to understand it but you. If you looked at my street fighter outline, it doesn't make any sense if you were to just read it. I just need simple summaries of each section so I know where my idea was going. I know, still, I am not the best writer. I have trouble with being descriptive. Hopefully that gets better with time.

I read a lot of books, and I play a lot of video games. My favorite authors are Anne Bishop, Jim Butcher, Terry Goodkind, Kim Harrison and Karen Marie Moning. I love cheesy romance novels. I like to play all sorts of games. I play MMOs mostly, but I like fighting games (Street Fighter FTW) RPGs, action/adventure and sometimes FPS.

I am 29 years old, but very close to the dreaded 3-0. I am a girl! Yes a REAL GIRL that likes video games! Despite my age, I have crushes on animated characters constantly and only wish I could find a man in my life that was like them (haha!). Any ideas that I get are usually thought of after watching or playing something that had an effect on me. For example, I have been playing so much freaking Marvel Vs Capcom 3, I have developed a story based on just Ryu. However I always used him in any previous Street Fighter game, or games that had him in it. I am possibly going to write a fic about Wolverine (another hot man I will never have, and btw HUGH JACKMAN was the perfect man as far as looks go... still too tall though) and I really want to do something with Fatal Fury, because Terry Bogard is freaking awesome, and I love Mai Shiranui as well. I just need to get an idea first. I may revisit my thoughts for Phantasy Star, particular on PSIII, as Wren was my favorite in that particular part of the universe. (IMO he differs greatly from the Wren in PS4).

My ideas mostly come from games, anime and comics, but I hope that I can make something from some books I read, just depends on if I can get a good idea. But the main fics that I go to READ are anything in the Phantasy Star (game), Fatal Fury (game and anime), Fever (book series), Black Jewels (book series), Full Metal Alchemist (Anime/Manga), Fushigi Yuugi (Anime/Manga), Sailor Moon (Anime/Manga), Yu Yu Hakusho (Anime) and Dragon Ball Z (Anime) universes.

I am a sucker for romance, and so far in my only story, there will be some aspects of romance, but I tend to not want to go in the lemony direction. I do or will have suggestive scenes but hardly any explcit scenes. On any fic I write, now or in the future, I tend to like fighting, with the real blood and gore of what is happening, so sometimes my stuff can be a bit violent.

Anyway, whether my current fic is the only thing I ever write, or I write more in the future, either way I hope you enjoy my stories. I always welcome criticism, as I am not an English Major, so I know that sometimes I can do with better words for descriptions, sometimes more detail and the occasional misspelled word. (consciousness is my most hated word to spell I think...)

I tend to review what I read, and if it is a work in progress, I might review every chapters, but if it is something that already has many chapters, I may only review once, or if I really want to say something about a chapter then I will review it then just so I don't forget what I want to say. As for people that review me, I respond to EVERYONE and my replies are sometimes lengthy, because I talk A LOT and I always have so much to say. I always like making new friends too, so usually long replies are my attempt to tell you what I like, in hopes of finding out more about you too! And don't be too shy to ask me anything, I am an extremely open person!

I will also be writing this in the next chapter of my main story.

First of all, let me apologize for the rather long hiatus on writing. I mentioned in a chapter that I found a job and that came first. Boy did it ever! With the happiness and joy of finally finding a job, I put in OT, made some money, made some friends. I ended up getting promoted a year later and now I supervise a whole team of people. Also, met a guy, and we have been together for a year now.

Fan fiction writing was many things to me. First it was my outlet to loneliness. Second, it was my way of getting away from reality. I needed it to get away from life.

I am not going to get into my entire life story, but I was unemployed, lonely and miserable, so fantasizing about imaginary guys was my outlet.

Not that I am unemployed, sad, or miserable, but I did a lot of catching up on my reading, found myself on fanfiction.net and thought… Wow, I never finished it. I need to do that. With it being a year into my relationship, and work stress on the low, I find I have more time again. Boyfriend plays a few video games (I can totally kick his ass in Street Fighter though) and I write.

I’m going to be honest, its been almost 2 years since I have written ANYTHING. Also, I did outline my story, so I remember what is supposed to happen, but the flow may not be as good as it used to be in my head. It will pick back up at some point.

2 years later yea? I read the first part... 29 years old... Well that was 5 years ago. I am 34 now. So much has changed. But... I haven't given up on this story yet. Let us see how long I can keep it up this time.
