Hello, all. I hope you like the stories I (slowly) post here.

I've finished a Dudley story for the Harry Potter universe, and I keep getting side-tracked by the backstories and plot bunnies for the other characters I'm pulling in. The current project in HP-world is Teddy's story, but it's going really slowly (think glacial motion slow). I might write up Bea's story first (if I don't give into my desire to revise Dudley's Tale).

The major original characters for Dudley's Tale are Dudley's wife, Annie; his daughters, Beatrice and Melissa; and his son Evan. I have a whole Next Generation written down for the stories. I'm trying to keep the stories mostly canon-compliant. Thus far, I've broken it three times that I know of. Once was intentional, while the other two happened because JK pulls out little reveals that make my story just that much AU. Oh, and I'm ignoring The Cursed Child.

I've also fallen hard into the Merlin fandom and have been inspired to write stories in that one. Most of them are canon-compliant up until the last couple of episodes. I both loved and hated the end of the show and am working on my own AU to fix it. I've also got the beginnings of a Merlin & Co in Space story going. Don't ask. I blame NaNoWriMo.

I promise I will get back to my Harry Potter stories, but I've largely been working on Merlin fanfic, and original stories with an eye towards actually publishing something for compensation.

As for real life ... I'm a retail drone who is finally going back to college with the eventual goal of becoming a librarian. Not much else, really. Just your typical nerd/geek.

Also, since I'll likely forget to add it to whatever story I'm working on, here's a blanket disclaimer: I do not own any of the worlds I may play in. Currently, I'm using the monkey bars in the world of Harry Potter (so all credit and adoration goes to JK Rowling) and the hopscotch court of the BBC's Merlin. Maybe after I'm done there, I'll take a trip to the swing sets in Gene Roddenberry's Star Trek or the see-saws in Tamora Pierce's Tortall and Misty's Valdemar merry-go-round.

Here are my various universes and the stories in them. Most of my stories in a particular fandom share the same universe and can be read as separate stories, but may still reference things from other stories in that universe. If I ever write one that goes AU from my major one, it'll be indicated. Unless marked as ongoing, they are complete.

Harry Potter:

Dudley's Tale AU (in a general chronological order, although Dudley's Tale is the main story thus far)

  1. Silence Is Kinder Than Truth: Dudley has some news for his father who won't like it.
  2. Going Home: George visits Weasley's Wizard Wheezes in Diagon Alley for the first time after the Battle of Hogwarts.
  3. The Teddy Bear: Harry has a gift for Teddy.
  4. Sketches: a short story about Dudley's wife and her background.
  5. Moonlight, Muggles and Magic: Lavender didn't die after her attack, but neither did she stay in the magical world; instead, settling down with a muggle. However, things can't be quite so easy for our intrepid heroine. (Multi-chapter - ongoing, but each chapter is a contained story)
  6. Dudley's Tale: about a grown Dudley Dursley and how the magical world just sort of sucks him back into it. Oh, and he and Draco become good friends. (Multi-chapter)
  7. The beginnings of Bea's story and the beginning's of Teddy's story are written, but not enough yet to find an actual direction for them, as well as some others, including one about Seamus.
  8. Werenargles and Bamboo: Gilderoy is in St. Mungo's and meets a person with important information about himself.

Crossovers/Fusions:

  1. Seed of Friendship: Merlin and Harry Potter fusion; Merlin and Arthur have night detention with Professor Sprout in the Forbidden Forest. Can they come to an understanding?

Merlin:

Dragons and Knights; A.K.A. The Stocks AU (in a general chronological order, The Stocks being the main one thus far)

  1. The Stocks: a series of shorts mostly revolving around the stocks and pillory that the Pendragons love shoving people into. Some are about OCs I have created to flesh out Camelot. (Multi-chapter - tentatively completed, but each chapter is a contained story even if some refer back to a different chapter. This one defies the chronological order and goes from before the Purge to the 21st Century and back and forth. There is the distinct possibility that I will randomly add to it every once in a while.
