Author has written 5 stories for 20th Century Boys, Web Shows, X-overs, and Kuroshitsuji. 95% of kids out there are concerned with being popular and fitting in. If you're part of the 5% who aren't then rejoice, for though we are few, we are unique, strong and won't surrender our freedom. I am the girl who doesn't go to school dances, or games, and when I do go, I sit in a corner and read a book. I am the girl who people look through when I say something. I am the girl who spends most of her free time reading, writing, or doing other activities that most teenagers wouldn't call normal. I am the girl that people call weird and a freak either behind my back or to my face. I am the girl that doesn't spend all her time on Facebook, or talking to a friend on a phone. BUT I am also the girl who knows and is proud to be who she is, doesn't care if people call her weird ,who loves reading and writing and doing the things that no one seems to have the time to do any more, who loves and is obsessed with books, who can express herself better with words than actions, who doesn't need a boy to complete her, and knows the importance of the little things. If you are anything like me, you know that you are different, beautiful, and unique. FANFICTION- UNITED NATIONS!! Has anyone else noticed how a lot of us get along and make friends on here and we can be from completely different countries? We're here making world peace on the INTERNET and we have all those ambassadors and senators and whatever struggling with it!! If you realize this, SPREAD THE PEACE!! I firmly believe that if you want to publish on this site please, for your readers, edit and revise your work. If it means you post once a week, than that's how it is. I'd rather read quality work than several chapters that are rushed and look like a little kid wrote them. There are some college students on this site who have poor writing that looks like it was done in second grade. Respect yourself, and take pride in what you write. Otherwise, you will never improve. Yes, your plot could be amazing and wonderful, but you lose readers if you can't take the time to be sure your story is how you want it. I realize you could make a few mistakes, everyone does. But if almost every paragraph has two or three misspelled words, it's obvious you're not trying. Sorry if I offend anyone in the process, but I am not afraid to ask you to edit your work. And I admire the people who also try to help. I want the advice. It makes me be a better writer, and better at what I love doing, telling stories. |
