Author has written 2 stories for Harry Potter.
My name's Hannah, I'm eighteen, love all things literature and art and spend way too much time reading (and now writing) fanfiction than is healthy. In my free time I like to do dancing and theatre but mainly I'm a first year medical student, which is exciting and a dream come true and also quite a strain on my social life - lol, way to be obvious. It's all good. I love my life. By virtue of Pottermore, apparently I'm a Slytherin Thunderbird with a mink patronus. This isn't my first ff account, I still have one from when I was twelve to fourteen and a devoted Twilight fan, and yes that's kind of sad but I can't really undo it. Let's hope I'm not going to regret this one! *fingers crossed* I love fanfictions (and anything else really) that plays with the whole good/evil theme. It's just insanely fascinating to me how an otherwise good person could flick the switch from one second to the next and bash someone in the head, figuratively speaking. That "flicking of the switch" - to me, that's the most human thing there is. We're blessed with the conscious and mindfulness to invent an idea of morality, then live to permanently enforce it, but who's stopping us? We can all flick the switch at any given time and really all that's holding up civilized society is the unspoken consensus that most of us never toy with the idea of going wild, let alone enforce it. I truly believe that any one of us could be a murderer, no matter how pious or nice seeming. At the same time, maybe logically, I'm a sucker for goodness. If I meet you, and you have that open and friendly and vulnerable glint in your eye, I will be your friend, and I will protect you. I guess that's why I love these stories. It's the common theme of light flickering in the pitch dark that keeps me reading. Also, shoutout to Tomione Shippers, from where I've gotten the awesome banner for Anagnorisis. Just for good measure. |
