I am new.

And to anyone who isn't a first-time visitor of my profile, hello again!

Most of what I'll be uploading are experiments. By experiments, I mean I'll be trying to explore ways to further improve how I write. Some might turn out sloppy, some may hopefully be good, some may have a lot of rookie mistakes, so all forms of constructive criticism will be very important to me.

Do expect that uploads will be sporadic as I only do so as soon as I've finished proofreading, not really following any form of schedule.

Works In Progress:

Lost Star

- My baby.

- I love this, really. Even if people won't or don't.

- This story serves as a character study in my attempt to practice how to properly develop a character through their interactions with other characters. And so far, I'm really happy with how people are giving it a chance (I know how people like to avoid OC stories because, ye know, it's usually a spell for self-inserts and power fantasies).

- Once this story ends, I'll be focusing more on The Progenitor.

- I'll be uploading extra chapters once Lost Star ends. They're just the events that could have been. The story has changed into something completely different from how I originally imagined it to be and to end after all, and I figured it'd be fun to let you guys know of how I wanted it to be. How to do that exactly is something I'll be working on.

The Progenitor

- Boy, oh boy.

- When I first uploaded this story, it was just an idea. The idea was "What if the Ashen One was a third party on the same level as Ozpin and Salem in the world of Remnant instead of a character on either side?"

- So it sprouted from there and it's just been one idea after another until months after the first chapter (which I like to call as Chapter 0 or Prologue Chapter), it's become something waaay different from canon in a lot of ways. I've changed so much of it that it could probably stand as its own story if I just changed the names of everyone involved to avoid copyright.

- Anyway! Still working on it!

Watching Sunsets

- Maaaaan this was supposed to be just a drabble.

- Like, I literally wrote it as a punchline to a joke on my personal Facebook account. So I'm having a bit of a hard time thinking of a way to turn it into a story, even if it's probably gonna be less than 10 chapters long.

Frozen Rose (Tentative)

- It's an idea I've had even before I decided to upload The Progenitor.

- It's about a story of Ruby Rose, but she's completely different from the one we all know and love (or hate, I dunno, some people just don't like her — understandable when you look at the canon story). In this story, her personality is one that is stoic/cool. If you're familiar with anime and manga, the more accurate term to describe her would be kuudere.

- To those who don't know, a kuudere — as described by a quick Google search — is a person who is often cold, blunt, and cynical. They may seem very emotionless on the outside but on the inside, they're very caring (and sometimes overprotective) — at least when it comes to the ones they love.

- For now, that's the idea, but I do have plans to add more elements into it. One of which is the reason she's become a calm, cool, and collected person instead of the bundle of joy and optimism we know.

- My inspiration for this was the Red Trailer of RWBY. I remember seeing it all those years ago and I was awed, much like everyone else who saw it. And my first impression of Ruby Rose back then was that she was going to be the cool or quiet bookworm of the story (it ended up being Blake though, but that's fine) because of how she said nothing and acted quite cool and collected there. In retrospect, it was probably because they haven't decided on who to do her voice but it was my impression of her until I saw the Yellow Trailer.

Let's Meet At The Witches' Gathering! (or Witch Assembly for short)

- Inspired by twitter one-shots with the hashtag #魔女集会で会いましょう which translates to the title. I will be writing this to get out of writing funks so if my updates weren't sporadic enough for you, try this.

- Stories will be kept short, the cast of characters may be subject to changes in the roles they play, but the high fantasy setting will remain consistent.

I also briefly considered writing something like a RWBY Vs. fic where it's just fight scene after fight scene per chapter. I'll ask you, my readers, for any sort of matchups and I'll try to write a fight scene or some such battles about it.
