Least Favorite Characters and Why I Dislike Them (DISLIKE, not hate)

Kagome (Inuyasha) - I really don't think I'd have such a problem with her if the authors hadn't of started making so many fics centering around her where Inuyasha would betray her for Kikyo or the jewel (either of which is out of character for him), she runs off and either becomes or turns out to be a demon or goddess-like being or she uses the jewel to become one (which really only taints the jewel more, though authors have it all work out), and she instantly falls in love with some other anime guy, more often than not being Sesshomaru from Inuyasha (who would kill her before she even got the chance to try) or someone from another anime (usually being Kurama from Yu Yu Hakusho). It just makes her a Mary Sue, even if she is a canon character. Plus she abuses her power over Inuyasha, gets herself kidnapped constantly, and usually either doesn't help out in a battle at all or runs into the middle of it, attracting the enemy's attention to herself and thereby causing Inuyasha to get hurt trying to save her as usual. Her only use is that she can see jewel shards. Big whoop. Plus she has no character development. Look at her closely and you'll see that other than gaining some miko power, she's not that different than she was when we first knew her. She hasn't grown or matured, but acts like she's the responsible one of the group when she's the one wasting most of their time. Don't like her much. But I only started to REALLY despise her after all the authors started overdoing it on the Kagome-centered fics. Originality...it's such a wonderful thing.

Kari (Digimon) - In the first season, she was cool. In the second season, she became the damsel in distress more often than not, and that took away from her character in the first season. I also didn't like the triangle between her Davis and TK, but I mainly blame the dubbers for that. I don't hate her

Rini (Sailor Moon)- She's a brat in both the anime and manga. Sailor Moon Super was the worst possible part of the anime EVER. All she does is ring a stupid little bell and then Sailor Moon blasts the monster. Wow...what's the point of her even being there? The pink-headed brat is evil. Just evil.

Darien (Sailor Moon) - Surprisingly, I don't despise Darien as much as my fics make it seem I do. He just annoys me. What type of nut goes around throwing roses in a tuxedo and cape, only to give a speech and let a bunch of girls do the fighting? Ugh...annoying. But not nearly so much so as others like Rini.

Vegita (DBZ) - ...Okay, so I don't hate him...but it's just so fun to have bad things happen to him.

Kuwabara (Yu Yu Hakusho) - Seriously, this guy is lame. I respect how he sticks by his friends and it was funny how he tricked Yusuke in the Dark Tournament, but other than that, he's more of a comedy relief character than anything, which is strange because usually the comedy relief characters are the ones I like most. Weird. Ah well.

Sasuke (Naruto) - ...Do I REALLY need to explain this one?

Thief: Well yes. To be fair, his miscalculation was to trust in us...but the way you put it, it sounds like it was OUR fault.
Black Mage: Maybe, but I blame Red Mage anyway.
White Mage: Based on WHAT?
Black Mage: Spite mostly. Plus I think he's a big idiot.

You're welcome to TRY the latter of course, but I assure you it's a wasted effort. You are up against a knife-wielding sociopath just LOOKING for an excuse to hurt you even if he has to make one up.
Fighter: Surely this maniac will slaughter us all!
Black Mage: If given half a chance...

Red Mage: I can't believe THIEF was the moral compass that kept us all from becoming a pack of roving murderers.
Black Mage: Yeah, it's a crazy world. I mean, think about it. WE'RE the heroes here.

Okay, I know many of you are probably really mad at me by this point. And I don't blame you, but after having lost EVERYTHING on my computer, I've had to rethink what I'm going to do with the Dark Future saga. Give me a bit more time and I'll get the next chapter out.
