Having posted on this site for over a year, I decided it was finally time to put something in this space. Strange how much easier it is to write about fictional characters than it is to do a simple bio! I'm from South Africa (Cape Town), and am currently working on my PhD in neuroscience. I've only written fan-fiction so far (that other people have read, that is), but would like to try writing as a career one day.

So far all my stories on this site are about the wonderful Dean and Sam Winchester from Supernatural. I wouldn't call myself a Sam-girl or a Dean-girl, although Sam tends to end up rather the worse for wear in most of my fics (which for some reason I think would make me a Sam-girl!) I love both brothers - since the show, in my opinion, is more about their relationship than anything else, being a fan of one and not the other misses the point completely.

What you won't find in my stories: Wincest, slash, romance (unless it's very much a side-plot). I probably won't ever write a death-fic, because I love happy endings, but if for some reason my cruel, capricious muse leads me in that direction, I'll give fair warning. This is not to say, though, that I might not bring them close sometimes...

What you will find in my stories: Hurt/ comfort, mostly, with strong emphasis on both. I like a bit of angst - okay, a lot, then - but I think I might have mentioned the whole happy endings thing... I tend to write my own plots, not heavily dependent on canon, but not AU either. And I also tend to stick to pre-season and seasons 1 and 2 (because I'm a wuss and after that things got REALLY tricky)!
