Hello!

Okay, a little about me: I basically live in a library with netflix and paints... and snacks :) My first love is scifi and fantasy, and there's not a lot that I enjoy more than a good crime drama to fill in the gaps. Still trying to prove something to the world (or maybe myself)- I'm in my thirties. I love to write and I do so constantly, but fanfiction has to remain on the backburner to work :(. While I mostly don't worry about the fanfiction I read doing so, my style tends more toward following in canon whenever possible. Because of this, you'll find many of my stories end with continuation into the original writer's stories, especially for shows that are still on the air. I'm working on that. For shows off the air, however, I have no such compunction or problem. So I'll usually end it the way I wanted the show to end. I do finish everything I start, even if it takes a while.

So you know, my favorite TV shows include: Stargate SG-1 (my favorite :) it's truly awesome; mostly seasons 1-8 but enjoyed 9-10 too. I ship Jack and Sam all the way), Stargate Atlantis (I miss Dr. Weir! :'( liked seasons 1-3 and a few of 4 like "Trio" because Amanda Tapping is amazing and carried it through losing yet another main character), Bones (B&B, no ifs ands or buts about it), Castle (fan of how they got together and adored the references to Firefly. I liked the way it was going until the botched wedding day thing, then it all seemed to go to crap), Battlestar Galactica (Adama and Roslin- What an sweeping, glorious love story! I love it so much), Avatar: The Last Airbender (TV show, not the movie obviously- freakin' epic! Truly one of the greatest shows of all time, imaginative and funny), Pushing Daisies ("It does have a grassy flavor" Ha! ), Leverage (Parker, my favorite... Shiny Tomato is was awesome), NCIS (Ziva was kick-* , and I love Abby and Ducky to bits. I've stopped watching since they got rid of Cote de Pablo though and like to pretend the new episodes don't exist. Allow me my fantasy), The Mentalist (Cho's one-liners made me laugh every single episode. I was a Jane and Lisbon shipper way before it became canon), The Pretender (Seriously? Two movies and they couldn't give us more closure than that?! I still loved Jarod & Miss Parker), Warehouse 13 (Where am I to get my steampunk fix without this show? Pete and Myka were great partners, though the way they got together was too rushed because they got cancelled. Claudia was awesome on so very many levels and was so funny! while Artie was simply adorable. It really was the show where I wish I had all the characters in my own life), Firefly (Cancelled way before it's time- but the movie rocked. Which just goes to show how awesome it really was to begin with), Fringe (Ooo, I love. Olivia and Peter together makes my heart happy, and Walter and Astrid make me smile), Forever (Cancelled too?! *sobs*), iZombie, Lost Girl (sometimes. when the writers weren't being stupid), The Simpsons (Seasons 1-15 mostly, the later ones have lost a crucial element I cannot name), Downton Abbey (gotta say, the ending was odd, like it was missing something), Law and Order: SVU (Benson makes me feel loved), Body of Proof, the X-Files, Rizzoli and Isles (I like them together in fan fiction), Star Trek: Voyager (Totally a Kathryn/Chakotay fan), Star Trek: TNG, Star Trek: DS9, Teen Titans (mostly season 4, cause Raven rocks), Dark Matter, Golden Girls (this is what I watched growing up, so it tends to mirror my sense of humor), Murder She Wrote (Also one I grew up watching. I think Angela Lansbury is adorable), Rosemary and Thyme, Grace and Frankie, The Wild Thornberry's, Elementary, Hotel Beau Sejour, and Wynona Earp.

Favorite Anime includes: Detective Conan (If only Ran knew the truth! More than twenty seasons and nothing?!), Moribito: Guardian of the Sacred Spirit (awesome animation and great interpretation of the book), Inuyasha (poor Sango!), Corpse Princess, Ghost Hunt (Cancelled before anything could really happen with it, like most anime), Noragami, Sword Art Online, The Irregular at Magic High School, Blood, and Blood-c (although I really wanted her to kill him).

Jo Martinez, Abe, Lady Cora Crawley, Lady Violet Crawley, Mr. Charles Carson, Mrs. Elsie Hughes, Agent Myka Bering w/ Agent Pete Lattimer, Claudia Donovan w/ Artie Nielsen, and Artie Nielsen w/ Dr. Vanessa (meaning I like their interactions when they're with that specific person best), PI Emerson Cod, Patrick Jane, Senior Agent Teresa Lisbon, Agent Cho, Miss Parker, Dr. Megan Hunt, Detective/former agent Jo Danville, Balsa, Sango, Raven, Asuna, Saya, Conan Edogawa. -Huh, seeing it all together like that...I guess I like doctors a lot in television. Go figure.
