Questioning her purpose in life, Maura is given a chance to see how the world would be different if she had never been born.

It all starts with a bet. Uh-oh. The classic tale of the jock and the geek, hate at first sight, and the race against fate. The odds are against everyone involved, so who wins? My money's on Cupid. (Present day Teen-AU)

"Jane?" Normally the doctor wouldn't bother trying to talk to her friend with the game on TV. On the rare occasion that she would make an attempt, Jane would feign interest between swigs of beer, making eye-contact only during commercials, and Maura would end up having to repeat the entire conversation after SportsCenter. But something is different...

An explosion leaves Jane with a scar and, well, something more. Something she could have never expected. This is gonna be a strange, yet funny one, I think. So be advised.
