![]() Author has written 4 stories for RWBY, and Fate/stay night. Hello! My name is Ravoleck. I enjoy writing and I especially love reading. I've been on this site for about 10 or so years now, but I made this account recently because I want to start exercising my writing ability more and receive feedback. I enjoy video games. I'm more of a PC gamer than anything on the console, but I do play some games on the 3DS. I don't always talk, but when I do, I have something to say. Usually, it's nonsensical, but I have my moments. Anyway, enjoy my writing. Stories that I'm working on include: Fate/Recondite (Partially published) Shirou sacrificed himself to take Gilgamesh with him, dropping both of them into the Holy Grail. So he should be dead, right? Then why does he have so many questions? Questions such as why is he still alive? Why is the moon shattered? What is a faunus? Shirou somehow finds himself in the world of RWBY. Plot ensues. The Emiyad (In development: Developing plot notes and studying maps/sources) Eternity is instantaneous, and an instant is eternal. He has awaited a miracle that would not occur, a miracle with a probability close to zero. He has been summoned once more. However, this is not the miracle he expected. The Heroic Spirit EMIYA does not find himself in Fuyuki City but instead in a small town in Greece. In the Age of Gods. I always loved Archer as a tragic hero. I also like happy endings and there are just so few of those in the Fate series. This will be a work that I may or may not work on alongside with Fate/Recondite (which is my priority after my schooling). Faker of Another Sort (In development: Developing plot notes) It was supposed to be a brilliant move on her part. She was desperate, looking for anything that might help keep Shirou's mind off his father's recent death, so she told him to join a club and be more like her. It'd keep his mind off everything, help teach him responsibility, and keep him under her watchful eye in the dojo. However, when one thinks of Fujimura Taiga, one does not think 'Archer.' They think 'overreacting childish drama queen.' Shirou kept it simple and thought 'Actor.' I write a lot of serious and melodramatic stuff. This is my breath of fresh air and me trying to write a more comedic piece featuring a more narcissistic and sarcastic Shirou. The consequences will be dire. They will be the stuff of legend. They will be hilarious. I'm on twitter with the tag @Ravoleck (twitter.com/Ravoleck). I post all relevant and non-relevant information about what I'm doing there. I don't always update, but when I do, it's almost always inane blather and filled with grammar errors like everything else I write. I also post some original stuff on fictionpress (the non-fanfiction version of this site). That's mostly stuff I've work-shopped with colleagues and I think is fine for the public to actually see. Unlike what you see here, that content is actually original and mine (that feels really good to say). If you want to use that stuff, that's alright with me. I just ask that you let me know if you do or drop me a link to your work. "You ask whether your poems are good. You send them to publishers; you compare them with other poems; you are disturbed when certain publishers reject your attempts. Well now, since you have given me permission to advise you, I suggest that you give all that up. You are looking outward and, above all else, that you must not do now. No one can advise and help you, no one. "There is only one way: Go within. Search for the cause, find the impetus that bids you write. Put it to this test: Does it stretch out its roots in the deepest place of your heart? Can you avow that you would die if you were forbidden to write? Above all, in the most silent hour of your night, ask yourself this: Must I write? Dig deep into yourself for a true answer. And if it should ring its assent, if you can confidently meet this serious question with a simple, 'I must,' then build your life upon it. It has become your necessity. Your life, in even the most mundane and least significant hour, must become a sign, a testimony to this urge." - A passage from a letter of Rainer Maria Rilke to a young poet Do what makes you happy. |
