Hey everyone! How's it going? Seeing that I haven't updated my profile since January I decided to give it an overhaul, hopefully it's an improvement. If you're new here, hello, I'm HephaestusBuilds, just some guy with too much free time that writes on the internet that also one day wants to publish a book or two or ten. I might join Wattpad or something soon to work on an original story, but for now I'm too busy on here to get started on anything else. But if you're interested in an original story, let me know. Also, should I post these stories on Wattpad or wherever as well?

A little about me:

I am a guy. Which, apparently, due to my writing style(especially in my fluffy one-shots) is surprising to some people. I don't know exactly how to take the fact that a lot of people thought I was a girl, but since I wrote those stories from the girl’s perspective I’ll take it as a compliment, I guess? Maybe I wrote them so well that people thought I had to be a girl?

I didn't read PJ or HP until I was twenty and quickly fell in love. I plan to do many PJ stories in the future but not any HP, sorry.

I, like many people on here, wish to become a fulltime, published author. I want nothing more than to be able to quit my job to be a writer after publishing a book. I only have to actually start writing it.

I'm a HUGE fan of fluff, so it shouldn't be surprising that pretty much all but one of my one-shots so far are fluffy romance fics.

Some of my favorite ships are Percabeth. Pertemis. DickBabs. BatCat. EdWin. HiccStrid. RyuChun-li. And IzuMomo.

I'm wanting to start a YT channel in the future to talk about books, comics and maybe movie reviews. But my main focus will be talking about my favorite fanfics on here and review them. As far as I know no one is doing that, so I figured I would. I also want to do some videos explaining/talking about characters, story plots and arcs. And maybe even a versus series where I pit two characters against each other in a hypothetical battle to see who would win. I've always wanted to know who'd win between Percy Jackson and Harry Potter or Percy Jackson and Aqualad.

I know some other, bigger writers do this, and I've had the idea for awhile, but should I get a Pat-reon?(Can't say it on here) And if I do would you help support me? I know most people do this for free, but I literally turn down moving up and extra hours at work to have time to write, so it is affecting my income a bit. Honestly just an idea right now, let me know if it’s stupid.

Current Ongoing Stories:

‘Champion of Olympus’ (Percy Jackson) - Two years have passed since Blood of Olympus, and Percy and Annabeth have been trying to start new lives outside of camp. But after a new Prophecy is told and Zeus forbids the demigods to hear it, an old foe and a new rival have risen to challenge Percy. Forcing him to have to let go of his dreams for a normal life and protect the ones he loves. But will his new rival be too powerful to defeat? Will the gods destroy him before the Prophecy comes to be? Will he be able to challenge the Champion of Olympus? (OC Centered)

Upcoming Stories(In order): (I have a Poll going on right now above deciding the order of these)

‘Greece vs Rome SYOC Story’ - An AU in which every god, every mythical figure and every pantheon exists and is known to the world, and Greece and Rome have become global superpowers over the past two thousand years. Each superpower controlling and having taken over dozens of countries and nearly having control over their side of the world. Now, the two rivaling countries are assembling their own small armies of young demigod and Legacy soldiers to do battle. Submissions closed. Thank you to everyone who submitted an OC.

‘PJ Rewritten For Pertemis’ - is the working title. A rewriting of the ENTIRE PJO and later HOO series with the 'Champion of the Hunt' spin on it. My version will be different, as are the reasons for Percy being in the hunt. It won't be the usual cliche 'Betrayed be the ones he loves and becomes all angsty and for some reason Sally dies' story. The altered story will start in Lightning Thief and go through Blood of Olympus. In this story I will have Artemis take Annabeth's place throughout the series as Percy's love interest, but a few crushes will be included before they get together, as well as a little time since Artemis doesn't show up until the third book, but I'll be fixing that, don't worry. Length is mostly undetermined for now but it will most likely be very long as I'm literally rewriting ten books to make it Pertemis instead of Percabeth. Also, NO Annabeth bashing, no Chaos or Primordials giving Percy powers, no OP Percy, this is a realistic love story, at least as realistic as a 16 year old demigod and an eternal virgin goddess in love can be. Will be rated T/heavy T for violence, language and themes. This will be a long-term series, so it will have slower updates compared to my ‘main’ story I'm working on at the time. But I aim for at least one chapter every month.

‘Perseus: God Of Righteous and Divine Destruction’ - is the working title. A different play on the stereotypical 'God of Destruction' idea. A god Percy AU story that takes place in ancient Greece. Percy is the 'son' of Hera and a not yet to be revealed Titan that hasn't shown up in canon. Common plot with my own spin on it to not make it so cliche. Percy and Artemis will grow up together as friends and later lovers. Ending, length and villain are still undetermined as this story is still in the early ideas phase. Other gods, Titans, myths and history will be included. Will be rated T/heavy T for violence, some language and themes like war and murder. Slower, calmer story at first, Percy will be a little OOC at first, as will Artemis as well. But that's to be expected in this kind of story. No OP Percy, Chaos or Primordials granting Percy powers, no Annabeth or character bashing.

‘I’m Dating A Prince For Humanities Class’ - HTTYD. Will be an AU story in which Astrid is a struggling college student and part time personal trainer/physical therapist, Hiccup is the crowned Prince of a country no one knows exists and Eret is his buff bodyguard/chauffeur. Won't be too long but will be very fluffy with sass and angst.

‘Two Worlds: Darkseid Rises’ - Working title. Young Justice. My first MEGA story as I've dubbed it. Will be by far the biggest single story I've ever written. My ideas for S3 before DC Universe ruined it that I thought up way before S3 was announced. Heroes and Villains around the world are being found dead or missing. With the League and Team unable to stand up against the new threat it's up to Nightwing and his new team of trainee heroes; The Titans. Story will contain dozens of DC characters, old and new, Bat-Family included. No OC’s per say, just changes and updated canon characters. Rated M for themes and violence. Bat-Family and more specifically DickBabs centered. If you want a specific character included let me know, but NO OC’s. (DickBabs) (BatCat) (SuperMartian)

Planned Stories that I don't know when they'll come out:

‘Young Justice Dark’ - Working title. A Young Justice/American Dragon: Jake Long crossover that focuses on a Team of magic-based sidekicks and young heroes. In VERY early ideas phase, no set story planned yet. Will be dark, duh, with violence, blood and dark subjects. Rated M for obvious reasons but NO lemons included.

‘PJ Band Fic’ - Working title. Name says it all, Percy, Nico, Thalia and Jason will be in a band and will have to deal with fame, relationships and an evil band manager. Short and funny with lots of sass and romance. Will be Pertemis. Rated T as of now.

One-Shots I plan/want to do at some point:

‘Deku vs All’’ - Is the working title. Class 1-A, now 3-A, are in their 3rd and final year at UA, preparing the take their final practical exam. All goes well until the class learns who they'll be fighting, the top student at the school, their classmate Izuku Midoriya. (IzuMomo)

‘American Dragon: Jake Long’ - Undetermined one-shot as of now. Will be post series/adult Jake. Set up/practice for a future YJ/AD:JL crossover story.

‘Spartan Love’ - Is the working title. An undetermined JohnxKelly fluff one-shot.

‘RyuChun-li’ - Undetermined RyuChun-li fluff one-shot.

Cancelled/On Hold Stories:

‘My Hero’ - Cancelled as of 1/6/19 after the 2nd chapter, might continue one day if I get motivation, free time and people care. But since some people got really upset when I cancelled it, I might not continue it.. - Naruto Shippuden. Naruto, on the verge of becoming Hokage, is seemingly killed saving the village. How will the world react? Will the nations return to war? Will a hurting Kakashi remain Hokage? Will his replacement be up for the task? Will someone rise to gain power among the chaos? Will Naruto's legacy be written off and forgotten? Will a certain pinkette be able to tell him how she feels in time?

‘Animorphs The Untold Stories 2: Mr. President’ (Animorphs) - On hold because I simply didn't get enough views and feedback on it. I know a few select people loved it, but I only got a handful of readers. If I get more people asking for it back or somehow have free time, I’ll start it back up again. - The Untold Stories#2. Four years into the war Jake quits the team after David kills Cassie and Tom. The Ellimist brings Cassie back and she becomes pregnant. The Yeerks forget their secret invasion policy and attack the Earth outright. The Animorphs try to get Jake back and try to get the help of the government to stop the Yeerks.

Upload Schedule:

I'm on my summer schedule now so my free time to write is shifted, but I will still be writing as much as I can. For now I’ll try to get back to weekly chapters of ‘COO’ until it's done. After that I might go to every other week as I start my next stories or even every month for long-term stories/series.
