To whoever hates Jason Todd: Have you ever stopped to think about why it is you hate him? For being brash, reckless, and headstrong? For being too angry; too impulsive; too disobedient? For being too human? Let's be honest here: Jason Todd is the most human and normal of all the Robins. Dick Grayson was an acrobat from the circus who had years of training. Jason Todd was some random street kid with no skills; all Jason had were his fists and his boldness. Timothy Drake was born to one of the wealthiest families in Gotham and had an I.Q. that exceeded his classmates'. Jason Todd was born into a poverty stricken family with a mom who was addicted to heroine and a dad who abused his family whenever he saw them. Jason Todd had no education after second (or first. Can't remember) grade (unless you count Ma Gunn's). Damian Wayne was the son of Talia al Ghul and Bruce Wayne, born and raised in the League of Assassins. Jason Todd was the son of Sheila Haywood and Willis Todd. Sheila sold him to the Joker and Willis abandoned him. Jason Todd grew up on the streets his entire life before moving with Bruce for a few years and dying. When he came back, it was back to the streets. So the next time you think, "Fuck Jason Todd! That little prick was a son-of-a-bitch that ruined the Robin name!" remeber that he actually is the son of a bitch. Sure he was a brash Robin--and he still is brash as Red Hood--but he could have been worse, all things considered. Vengance is at the center of his mind, but vengance is always in some position of someone's mind. Think about it. Life knocked Jason Todd down at every upturn of his life. Life twisted him; made something hopeful into something dark. Jason Todd was the most vulnerable of all the Robins. Yes, even more vulnerable than tiny ol' Tim. What Tim lacked in size, he made up for (and surpassed) in intellect. And Jason's still the most vulnerable. His emotions are what make him vulnerable. Dick tossed Jason in Arkham without a second thought. Tim can be as cold as Batman to whoever. Damian thinks he's above the world (he's getting better with it...). Jason thinks he's expendable; replaceable; insignificant. Jason thinks he's meaningless. For all his badassery, Jason Todd's self-esteem is so low it's... It's heart-breaking. Please. Just... Think about it. About Me: Aaand now we get to me! The whole point of this profile! Haha. Religion: I am a Pentecostal Christian (working on getting better) and have had my fair shares of ups and downs. General Info: I don't write smutt or porn. I will not write any Jay/Tim, Jay/Dick, Tim/Dick, Tim/Kon, Jay/Roy, Dick/Wally, Dami/Dick, Dami/Colin, Dami/Jon, or Jay/Tim/Dick/Dami, etcetera. THEY ARE BROTHERS, STRAIGHT, AND IT IS INCEST. BLOOD BROTHERS OR NOT, THEY'RE STILL BROTHERS. If a character is not gay, I will not pair them with the same sex. So, that means no Babs/Kori, Babs/Steph, Steph/Cass, Steph/Harper, Cass/Harper, Cass/Babs, Cass/Steph/Babs, and any pairings that include Cassandra with any of her brothers (Dick, Jason, Tim, Damian). These are my beliefs and if you don't like them, there's nothing I can do about that. I will make no exceptions to this paragraph. I write fanfiction as much as my busy life allows, and my updates are about sixty-two point eight shades of fucked-up... Apparently, all I can manage to write is Angst, Tragedy, and Hurt/Comfort (emphasis on the Hurt part).
ANYWAYS! 8D All attempts of fluff I write are usually... My muse switches like "Naaaah. Look at what else you can do instead!" And I just go with it. I like Shakespeare (but Romeo and Juliet gets on my nerves) and, uh. That's all that's interesting about me? I guess? OH WAIT-- Top 6 Ships:

Girl: No, it's not. Please, I'm scared. Guy: Then tell me you love me. Girl: I love you, now slow down! Guy: Now give me a big hug. She gives him a big hug Guy: Can you take off my helmet and put it on yourself, it's bothering me. In the newspaper the next day, a motorcycle had crashed into a building because of break failure. Two people were on it and only one survived. The truth was that halfway down the road, the guy realized his break wasn't working but he didn't want the girl to know. Instead he had her hug him and tell him one last time that she loved him. Then he had her put on his helmet so that she would live even if he died. That's me counting on them to be there for me. When I call someone my best friend, that's me knowing they'll be there for me, for better or for worse. What I am for my friends... For the ones I'm closest to... It's okay to cry, because I'll be your shoulder to cry on. It's okay to break, because I'll be there to hold you together. It's okay to be weak, because I'll be strong for you. It's okay to feel afraid, because I'll be there to keep you safe. It's okay to fall, because I'll pick you back up. It's okay to feel like you're fighting against the ocean of life and losing, because I'll be there to keep you above the waves. It's okay to be human, because I'll be there with you every step of the way. We may argue, we may fight, but in the end, I'll always apologize and I know you will too. In the end, I know I can count on you, and you can count on me. We may not be related by blood, but I love you like my brother; I love you like my sister. I love you like family, and I'll never stop loving you. I'll never hate you. I'll never leave you. I'll never abandon you. I'll never walk out on you. I'll never damn or curse you. I'll never physically attack you. I'll never take advantage of you. I'll never, ever, stop caring for you. I'm here for you, every step of the way. I'm here for you, for better or for worse. I'm here for you. I'm here. That, is what I am for my friends. ( Please don't copy this to your profile without permission. Thank you! ) -September (Updated: 06/23/2018) |
