Author has written 20 stories for Outsiders, White Collar, Harry Potter, Supernatural, Ninja Turtles, Lord of the Rings, Hobbit, Cal Leandros, Naruto, and Batman. I live some where in the United States. Somewhere in the north west. I can vote but not drink. I love cats and I am female. My name doesn't matter only my stories. I love hurt/comfort genre and angst when I am in a too happy mood. I also like humor or parody's, they always make me laugh. I like to draw and write. I write poetry and my own stories but I also love fanfiction. I love reading and that is all there is about me. UPDATE: I am now legally able to drink even though it almost been a year since my first legal drink. Yay me! Favorite Books: Cal Leandros, Harry Potter, The Hobbit, The Outsiders, Hawks Harbor, and Saiyuki (a manga) Favorite TV Shows: Supernatural, Doctor Who, 2000s TMNT, Stargate SG1/Atlantis, NCIS/NCIS LA, The Mentalist, Psych, Hawaii Five0 and Sherlock Harry Potter: Favorite characters: Harry Potter: I have a thing for main characters. I tend to relate better to main characters because most of the time the story is from their point of view so their reasons for doing things are often explained more then everyone else. I like badass Harry, Dark Harry, Grey Harry, and Apathetic Harry. I also like older jaded Harry that traveled through time to defeat V-man again. I like him paired with any one basically except for OC and Ginny. Hermione Granger: She was the loyal friend, that's why I like her more than Ron. She does have her faults like being a teachers pet, but she never betrayed a friend. I also like it in fanfiction when she defies authority and becomes disenchanted with society. I tend to pair her with Harry but she can also be paired with Ron, especially if it is written well. Ron Weasly: The reason I don't like Ron as much is because he betrayed Harry twice. I wouldn't have minded as much if he actually groveled a bit. I like both evil-scum-of-the-earth-death-eater Ron as well as best-friend-loyal-sometimes-lover Ron. It kinda depends on the story line. Sirius Black: He was the lovable rouge, the Han Solo, the rascal of the story. I do like him more in fanfiction when he fights for Harry. I don't really pair him up with anyone. If he does get paired up with someone its either Remus or some obscure character that is only mentioned in passing. James Potter: The thing that gets to me in fanfiction is that James tends to be vilified. I think its because we only have second hand accounts of him and the only first hand account in cannon, is through the biased eyes of an enemy. We never get a letter, or a memory, or anything besides Snape's memory of James. He is more of a caricature then an actual character. I tend to make him a Han Solo type character. He has a playful/prankster side but also a serious side that he keeps hidden. He is the only character that I only have one ship for, Lily Potter. Lily Potter: She kind of suffers the same fate as James for being more of a caricature than a character. We only see her through Snape's eyes and he tends to glorify her. She does have a bit more depth than James but not much. I ship her with James but sometimes with Snape but only when James is dead in the story and Lily still mourns him. Snape also apologizes/grovels for his mistakes. I don't like James bashing when she is paired with Snape. Remus Lupin: He's the average Joe. He is neither super bad or super good. When I read Take-Charge Harry, Remus is always on Harry's side. If it's dark Harry or revenge Harry, he can be bad or good but I tend to like him on the "good" side. Luna Lovegood: She is the fall back character that gets paired with Harry. If Hermione in the story is evil-evil-evil then I pair Harry and her together. Nymphodora Tonks: She is also a fall back character but she can also be paired with Remus. Least(ish) Favorite Characters: Severus Snape: The thing about Snape in both cannon and Fanfiction is that he almost never apologizes for anything. No sorry for tormenting you for six years Harry/Nevil/Hermione, no sorry for being a royal jerk, no sorry for helping kill your parents Harry. Nothing. He also does nothing to change his ways. He's still mean and rude to people, he still carries a grudge against people that are worse off then he is: Sirius is a wanted man for something he didn't commit, James is dead, and Remus can't get a job because he's a werewolf. And Snape has the gall to complain about his life. He has a pretty good job and he's not in jail when he should be (he joined a terrorist group and didn't serve anytime in Azkaban). People say that his back story redeems, I think it was just to give him a motive or a reason why he did the things he did. I guess the real debate is whether he deserves forgiveness for what he did. I'm kind of against his forgiveness because he doesn't try to help the people he hurt. The only person he "helped" was Harry but you could argue that it wasn't by choice but by obligation. Also his background made him seem whiny, 'oh I was bullied, and had an abusive home situation, I deserve a free pass.' Umm . . . no. Harry was abused and you don't see him joining a terrorist organization. Don't misunderstand, I think he is a very interesting and well written character but that doesn't make him a good man. And I do read stories where he mentors/helps Harry, but he realizes he was at fault and apologizes to Harry a lot. I don't hate him, I just don't exactly like him. I ship him with Lily, James, and sometimes Remus. Draco Malfoy: I think he should have gotten a harsher comeuppance in cannon. I mean he joined a terrorist group and got off scott-free? That is not fair. I do sometimes read slash of Harry and Draco but that is also when Draco sees the error of his ways or Harry is Evil. I also love stories where Draco does get proper comeuppance. Dumbledore (at times): I love manipulative Dumbledore. He can be evil or just set in his ways, but it is always fun to read when Harry must break the system to get free. Molly Weasly: I like evil Molly as well as misguided Molly. She is a fun obstacle that the heroes must get around or convince to help. She is also fun to read when she is in Momma bear mode. Ginny Weasly: First of all I don't hate Ginny. There is not enough of Ginny to really hate. She is never really shown to do anything in cannon she just kind of appears as a Mary sue in book five, becomes a love interest in book six and only seen in the last half of book seven. And we are told how awesome she is but never shown. I never felt the chemistry between Ginny and Harry in the books or the movies and don't think they belong together. It doesn't help that they only got a few pages/minutes of screen time together and suddenly are deeply in love with each other. So I don't ship Ginny and Harry. Ginny can be with anyone else as long as it's not Harry. I also notice that I don't read a lot of Ginny centric stories. So as long as she not the center of the story or shipped with Harry, I like her. Well there is one story that she was shipped with Harry, but she was well written and the romance was a minimum almost non existent thing. Favorite Parings: Harry/Hermione: This has always been my favorite paring. They get along well, have similar backgrounds, and seem to have respect for each other and don't fight constantly. Their personalities always seemed to mesh well for me. Harry/Ron: I like this slash. I like reading this slash. I just can't write slash. I have always had trouble with romance and like to keep it at a minimum. Harry/Luna: If Hermione is dead or evil, I like this pair. Harry/everyone who isn't Ginny or an OC: I like to put Harry with anyone, as long as it isn't Ginny or an OC Harry/Ron/Hermione: I always that this should have been the pairing in cannon. There is not many trio fanfiction out there but the ones that are written a really good. They also get abandoned a lot. |
