Keytripper Poll: In Castle of the Eastern Stars, should I delete chapter 3, "Brighter Than the Sun"? I wrote the first couple of chapters over a year ago, before I had a very clear direction of where I wanted to go with the overall story. Now that the plot is set in stone, I look back and I'm not sure if this chapter pulls away from the rest of the story. The original plot was going to have more poetry-like pieces in it, so it made sense at the time to add it in. What did you think of this chapter? I do not want to disappoint anyone who likes this chapter by deleting it, but I don't want something to remain in this piece that will damage the work as a whole, considering this chapter was written a long time ago.
