About me:

I am a HUGE Lord Of The Rings/Harry Potter fan... ...and a less-huge Sherlock Holmes/Chronicles Of Narnia/Anne Of Green Gables/Hunger Games/Divergent Trilogy/Six of Crows fan/Percy Jackson.

My all-time favorite book characters are Aragorn(LOTR) and Sirius (HP), though Luna, Ginny, Regulus and Snape tie second for HP.

I'm into reading, writing, sketching, philosophy and psychology.

A little note on fanfiction:

Think before you act.

It's very easy to flame an author on "your story sucks, I hate this pairing/plot" but remember: that author's finished a fanfic. It's not as easy as you think to produce fiction, and authors give up their time, duties, freedom and sanity to provide free reading material which they are under no obligation to share. Roosevelt said it best when he said ,“It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood; who strives valiantly; who errs, who comes short again and again, because there is no effort without error and shortcoming; but who does actually strive to do the deeds; who knows great enthusiasms, the great devotions; who spends himself in a worthy cause; who at the best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement, and who at the worst, if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly, so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat.” So if you're a writer, ignore those flames, or learn from them as you will, but don't let that get you down. If you're a reader, remember that one word goes a long way, and just dropping a "nice!' into someone's review box [if you have the time, of course] can really make their day.

I am the girl that doesn't go to school dances, or games, and when I do go, I sit in a corner and read a book. I am the girl that people look through when I say something. I am the girl that spends most of her free time reading, writing, or doing other activities that most teenagers wouldn't call normal. I am the girl that people call weird and a freak either behind my back or to my face. I am the girl that doesn't spend all her time on MySpace, or talking to a girlfriend on a cell phone or regular phone. BUT I am also the girl who knows and is proud to be who she is, doesn’t care if people call her weird (it's a compliment), who loves reading and writing and doing the things that no one seems to have the time to do any more, who hates and isn't obsessed with Twilight, who can express herself better with words than actions, who doesn't need a guy to complete her, and knows the importance of the little things.
