Story Updates 6/11/14

First: Trying very, very hard to recapture my interest in Naruto and Itasaku - I will forever love that pairing as my OTP, and thankfully I've had some latent stirrings of story ideas for them. Thankfully I seem to have a steady supply of free time on my hands this summer, so hopefully I can produce a few more chapters of things. I've gotten interested in some alternate, even MORE cracky Sakura pairings recently (Obito x Saku and Tobirama x Saku and Madara x Sakura and Kakashi x Sakura) soooooo...yeah. Possibly expect to a see a few one shots about those adorable darlings.

Also, I get asked this question a lot, so I'm going to give an honest answer: "DecidedlyPositive, when will 'Consequences of Uchiha' be updated?" I don't know.

I began writing that story in high school, and I'm now a grad student - just for a little perspective on how long it's been since I really revisited it. I forever love the readers who want me to continue it, and I really, really want to sometimes also. It's just difficult, because Itachi's canon manga personality has been revealed as radically different from what I used to portray him as, and it's hard to reconcile my old way of writing him with how I now view him in my head. I also lost most of the bits and pieces of plot planning and future chapters that I had typed up somewhere along the way, and I feel like I wouldn't want to cheat my readers by half-assing the rest of the story merely for the sake of trying to finish it.

Sorry for the wall of text - I only wanted to provide an explanation for any lingering readers still wanting one. I can't say I'll never finish 'Consequences of Uchiha', but I'd really need some strong motivation to do so right now. Maybe one day, hopefully.
