![]() Author has written 33 stories for Twilight, and Harry Potter. (this is the last time I redo my profile, I swear. of course, if you've known me long enough to see the constant changes then you probably known not to actually believe anything I say, but let's just pretend, ok?) Hi, I’m Chloe! I'm younger than I should be in terms of fanfiction I've been exposed to, but I'm pretty sure by now age isn't even a number. And honestly, porn pops up in the most innocuous places so this site is by no means the only source of corruption. I’m participating in the Gift-Giving Extravaganza 2013 so BOW TO ME (and also feel free to request) Before reading my fics: Sometimes I use dark or adult themes (i.e. non-con, mental disorders, abuse), though they’re usually only alluded to or at most skimmed over. As a general guide, though, stories that might be triggering include anything Tom Riddle centric as well as anything categorized as ‘horror’. Apart from that you should be okay. Also, I don’t write lemons, either slash or het. Written for me: When the Lion becomes the Lamb as well as some other fics whose names I shall have to hunt down. Anyway, I am eternally grateful! Favorite people on this site: Carolina ; my incredible HP beta ; Howl3 ; wonderful Twilight pre-reader ; evil overlord slash sister Liza ; Lady My three favorite fandoms are Harry Potter, Twilight and Spider-Man. I tend to vacillate between them and lose and regain interest in one at random times (but generally I love writing for them all). Drarry is my favorite pairing of all time (you see I just can’t escape it no matter how I try) and other favorites include: Druna, Jakeward, Draco/Dean, Spider-Man/Human Torch, Draco/Zacharias and SQUEACHER. (Ok, let’s be honest, I’m a fan of any pairing involving one of my three favorite characters: Draco Malfoy, Edward Cullen and Peter Parker. No, I don't get it either.) I’ve tried really hard to like Dramione because of some of its stories are incredible but couldn't. Personally, I like friendship between the two but nothing more. Read ThePsychoVamp's profile to understand my Twilight views, because we agree exactly and she says it more coherently than I ever could. My personal Spider-Man world is an odd combination of the Comicverse (I've only read a few of the earlier ones but have a general knowledge of the whole thing) and the original movie trilogy. IN MY WORLD THE REBOOT DOES NOT EXIST. Upcoming Stories: Turn Your Face Up to the Sun – Jacob has a tendency to act first, think later. When his faulty judgment leaves Edward Cullen with permanent damage and the treaty on thin ice, the resulting fallout forces the Quileutes to question everything they so firmly believed. Between Eclipse and BD. AU. Eventual Paul/Edward slash. Boundary Lines – Trapped in La Push by the Quileute tribe, Edward struggles to keep his sanity while being held captive by the very people who pushed him to his breaking point. Canon, non-con. Legend of the Cold One – Wolves are by nature very self-involved, something that even imprinting doesn’t change. Jacob’s selfishness when it comes to his imprint results in consequences he never could have imagined, and Edward is the one who pays the price. Jacob/Edward slash. Divergence – Edward Cullen goes missing right before his high school graduation. Twelve years later he’s returned, but he’s not quite the same. And this new Edward is a far cry from whole. Canon. HPFC, PTB and an important life skill. Also, please please please learn how to use hence. This is my main fanfiction account, and it’ll always have more stories than any other accounts of mine (that will pop into existence… someday) because this is where I write pointless challenge/contest fics. I'm absolutely not wasting life. My ao3 account (and one of these days I might even get around to actually using it) I mostly visit this site at odd hours of the night, because my sleep cycle is about six hours off. Writing Process: think of an idea, run it through my head a few dozen (dozen) times, write sections in my mind, think about it for a month or two, whine to several people about how I don’t know how to start, and then MAYBE get it down on paper which means a very long time of staring at a completed summary and title while putting off actually writing any of it. See, that’s why I’m such a bad updater. With one-shots I just write stream-of-consciousness and make it up as I go along (which is why I love one-shots) in that hazy, present-tense kind of way, but once I try to throw in a plot I fall apart. Even my writing voice in forums and messages tends to switch constantly depending on my mood. Basically, I’m incredibly inconsistent and have pretty much given up trying to change (now how’s that for irony?) |
