Author has written 4 stories for Gundam Wing/AC, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Scandal. Something seems different, doesn't it? If you are wondering why this looks so sparse, it's because I am going through a transition. I have deleted any stories that I don't see myself updating, as they were not getting much feedback. If anyone is truly interested in any of my former work, let me know. I did back up most of it except for the really old stuff that hasn't been updated since the End of Dialup Internet. That wasn't really a joke, LOL; I've had this account since 2000. Staggering! EDIT: I recovered The Commodore's Wife & Alternate along with Strange Bedfellows. I am debating on bringing back Infinity, too. I am working on a fanfic for another fandom right now and I am rewriting Chapter 12 (or technically since "Vow" is the Prologue, Chapter 11) of TCW. I've written too much on TCW/Alternate to abandon it now (like nearly 350 pages worth *huge sigh*), might as well finish it for my piece of mind. My Current Works 1. Strange Bedfellows. My first GW entry on and and my newest GW fic in a while. I had been watching the movie Mr. and Mrs. Smith a couple of years ago when I started to ask myself, Hey...what would it be like if it had been Heero Yuy and his wife? I meant well, but two years ago it really didn't get past the idea stage. Two years later (the present), I picked it back up, and the story began to shift in interesting ways. I have to admit, though, Danie makes me cringe for the first chapter or two (for me, she is badass in the Prelude. But like I said, that's just for me; think what you will). It will also be the second time that I write Relena Peacecraft in an appealing way... What? Yeah, she's not my favorite Gundam Wing character, but what can you do? Not much of a playlist yet, but I do rock out to "Around the World" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers for the Prelude... 2. The Commodore's Wife. I have no self-discipline or self-restraint whatsoever which is why this story is available for the public to see. It is supposed to be the sequel to CHIYC and after some deliberation, I've deleted CHIYC because I don't see myself updating it. I may add some of the scenes into the latter part of this one. I am currently back at the drawing board so to speak and re-writing Chapter 12. I think I went adrift a bit. (And the cynical part of me quips, "Ya think?") 3. The Commodore's Wife: Alternate. Merely a place for deleted scenes or extended content from the TCW world. I started it during the editing stages of "Mother/Mourning" and it keeps the chapters from being massive clunkers...sort of. I think I am having too much fun writing the #modern chapters. 4. The Friendship Principle. It's really awesome to make friends within a fandom, even if you arrive to the party late. The idea and impetus for this particular tale came from a good friend of mine, and I am hoping everyone likes it. Olivia and Fitz are best friends, and suddenly, when there is another woman in the picture, things get hairy. (Not Mellie, I promise!) Everyone has been extremely encouraging and supportive so far, and it is amazing. Thank you Gladiators! Related Content On my Tumblr I posted graphics/edits/sets inspired by TCW. Most likely when I get going on the Scandal fanfic, I will start posting things related to that one as well. I would link them here but has something strange going on with linking away from the site. Oh well. Username: fearnotprod My Former Works 1. The Tricorn. I actually made up the concept for the Tricorn (yes, I know, it's a hat, lol) for another story, but I tried it out here, and this is what came out. I feel rather ambiguous about it at the moment; it is my first Alias fic (as I warn people in the Prelude), and I don't know if watching Seasons One and Two for two weeks straight helped me get the characters right or not. I am rather enjoying pairing both Sydney and Vaughn with my own characters even though they will inevitably end up together. (Hey--I am not immune to the S/V love; I watched "Counteragent" and...whew! I almost cried and I am not a crier. It was so sweet.) 2. The Gifted. I had originally started a FEARLESS fanfic called The Gifted, but I had decided to use the concept for an Alias fanfic. It seemed like a cool idea, but it wasn't getting much response so I deleted it. If you're interested in reading it, the existing chapters are posted on the Midnight Moon website. What is Midnight Moon? Don't ask... *sweatdrops 3. What Took You So Long? An obvious tie-in to the Emma Bunton song with the same name. My attempt to put together the strong and silent Trowa Barton with the fun and flighty Jennifer Dunne and include Nicole Smith and Duo Maxwell playing the dozens as many scenes as possible. It is an early link to the later Pretty Soldier Midnight Moon, which I have also become stuck upon. Unfortunately, I think my What Took You So Long? playlist is more enduring than the story, he he. 4. Codename: Manhattan Supergirl. One of my favorites. FEARLESS' Gaia Moore teams up with Heero Yuy spawn Josephine Yuy, who, to some seemed like a major Mary Sue. Sigh. What can you do when your parents kick ass and you inevitably kick ass too? Oh well. This story unfortunately has stalled, but I hope to pick it back up someday. It's a cool story, and I loved putting Gaia and Josie together. Sadly, I don't have a playlist for this one. 5. Pretty Soldier Midnight Moon R: SM Revival. When I was a sophomore in high school, I had started constructing what would become this. I made up new senshi, though, now they seem outlandish. Will I pick this back up? I'm not sure because like WTYSL the playlist seems more enduring. "Just Let Me Cry" is Usagi's image song, so to speak. 6. Moonlight Legend. Sailor Moon fans will probably get a chuckle out of this one. No--this is not a Sailor Moon fic. This is my first CSI: Miami fic pairing Horatio and his team with the legendary Tiger Squad. I think I lost people after chapter nine and I don't blame them. But the scenes with Horatio against Jessica were a blast to think up and write. And here's the punchline: the sequel I had planned was called Moonlight Destiny, and yes, Usagi was set to appear in it. Oh me and my imagination... 7. Infinity. The replacement for The Tricorn. I started watching Season Three a little more and decided that the tale of the Tricorn would be better set during Season Three. Infinity retains the friendship between Isabelle Flannery and Nicole Smith that I loved so much (what, you didn't?) but leaves out the Thomas-Wolfe family (well...at least for now), Cameron Cook, and Benjamin Anderson-Lewis (aka the mysterious man Jack talked to). Infinity was originally the title for the sequel to the Tricorn, and I had even written some scenes for it (my favorite was the dinner scene where Sydney hears Isabelle's voice in her head...ooh!), but I'd decided to take a different route. On my website, I've posted the finished chapters of the Tricorn and the unfinished stuff from Infinity. (The Infinity posted here is affectionately named on my computer Infinity, the Reprise.) Do I feel better about the new Infinity? Slightly. I'm intrigued to find out how readers to react to Maura Ayala. Who? You'll see... 8. Vivirás. A brainstorm on a snowy night led to this particular work, and I am not going to claim it is my best. As I warned, it is merely an exercise, and it is not going to be long and drawn-out. I again am exploring the Danie/Heero/Relena threesome, but in a slightly different way than I do in Bedfellows. 9. Catch Her if You Can. After finding myself enthralled by the all-mighty Pirates of the Caribbean fandom, I realized how much I adored Commodore James Norrington--and how much he got completely shafted in the film series. So I was pressed to (attempt to) create a better one. Literally, the first image I had in my heard of this story was Norrington yelling, "Catch that bloody woman!" Ah, good times. |
