And the moral of that is--Be what you would seem to be--or if you'd like it put more simply--Never imagine yourself not to be otherwise than what it might appear to others that what you were or might have been was not otherwise than what you had been would have appeared to them to be otherwise. For I am Scritch, Queen of all cretins. Let all lesser cretins bow before me. I haven't updated since, well, Pluto was a planet. While there is always hope that this situation shall be rectified, unfortunately, life seems to have dictated otherwise. What with my college studies in Anthropology, my job at a law firm, and that niggling little inconvenience of leaving the country for weeks on end, it doesn't appear that I'll be sharing anything new with the public anytime soon. I can guarantee, however, that the writing quality has increased during my absence – if only because I have mainly gotten over the angstiness of my teenage years, which I shall be leaving behind forever within the next few months. I still enjoy good angst, and it shall be present, but there will be a significant lack of "woe-is-me" tragedy and self-pity. I am endeavoring towards a multi-chaptered fic in the future. Begin at the beginning, and go on till you come to the end. Then stop. A small tidbit as to who I am: as stated above, Anthropology student, legal secretary and slave, able to drink legally. In addition, I am a kickboxer, roleplayer, moocher off of my parents' good will and home cooking and low rent rates, and am working on low self esteem issues. My tastes have turned along with the realization of my bi-sexuality, and I find myself rather enamoured with slash of both varieties. I have written towards hints of femslash in but one of my stories – hopefully with some more writing, you'll find a variety of gen, het, slash and femslash, hopefully all with genres so that all audiences might find some tidbit of a story to read and enjoy. Opportunity knocked. My doorman threw him out. |
