Hi there!

If you're reading this you must be either bored, curious, accidently clicked this, or genuinely interested in finding out about me. I don't mind either option really.

So anyway. I have been on this site for I'd say . . . about six years. Wow, writing that down makes me feel old. I still remember the excitement and jitters I got from publishing my very first story ever on here. Feels like yesterday. And I am aware that I am no longer in the 'young' department of this site.

That said: I am no longer a teenager.

Sucks. Royally sucks.

That said: I was looking through my old profile and realized it was time to clean it up. It was waaaay cluttered. So here is an update on my old self.

Name: Alex

Hair: Black and short

Pets: Cat and Bird. They're best friends . . .sorta

Eyes: I'm not sure . . . greenish-brown? Hazel?

Major: Teacher

Maternal status: Single. And proud of it.

Favorite movie: As of right now . . . Thor 2

Favorite food: Anything with cheese or chocolate

Age: Too old for riding bumper cars.

Hobbies: Writing/art searching/drawing/reading/burying myself in college work/baking - like a lot/sleeping when I can get it.

Job status: Part-time teacher

Life status: None existent.

My life is either school, work, or here. Sad, but it works for me.

Still love all manners of sports and my taste in music has expanded. I have recently became a person that can see something in anything. Open artistic eyes.

My current, and probably until I die, obsession is Batman.

I have always loved Batman. I have always been a Batman fan. But just these past three years I have literally become what can safely be called insanely obsessed with all things Batman.

Obsession within the obsession? . . . Jason Todd. My muse betrayed me and sold herself to this fictional character and he won't give it back. So the only way to deal is to feed it with ANYTHING related to Jason Todd and/or family/friends/life.

'Tis true. I am a crazy Jason Todd fan girl and DC 52 comics have been feeding me and making it worse. Not ashamed to admit it.

I love Batman's entire family and will fight anyone who speaks against them.

I realize most people feel you can't be a true fan if you like n52. But here's my position on this. If I don't like something N52 has done I just take that part out and put the before 52 story in there, or vise versa. See, problems solved! This is why sites like this exist!

I like to connect with people in all manners of art and fandoms. Batman just comes out on top sometimes. Or all the time. Depends on how you look at it. If you have a good story you want me to read that's in the following Fandoms feel free to PM me. I love PM's.

Fluff.

Humor - sort of.

Angst. I love that stuff.

Brother fluff. I live off that stuff.

Family fluff.

Hurt/comfort.

Romance - not real good at it but - meh.

Action. Decent at it.

Suspense. Practicing.

And random blurbs of supernatural or mystery stuff.

I don't write any kind of slash so if that's your cup of tea I'm not your girl.

Other than that, I like to experiment and I will continue to do so until I figure out how to write a masterpiece.

I've noticed that I have written a lot of stories over the years. Most are complete but some aren't and they irk me. So I decided to make myself feel better and less guilty by giving their status on here. Which ones will be continued and which ones won't. Sadly there will be a lot of discontinued ones. Sigh* the fickleness of the human mind . . .

Batman fandom: Cats instead of Bats: COMPLETED!!! YUP 'TIS DONE!

KND Fandom: Come home: Sadly discontinued.

Completely Abnormal: Discontinued until further notice

Proven Wrong: Discontinued Until inspiration comes back

Young Justice Fandom: Give Up: On Hiatus until further notice

Powerpuff Girls: Past pain: Discontinued

Teen Titans: More to Me: Discontinued

There. Sad. Now I'm sad. Oh well. I hope there won't be many discontinued stories in the future!

For those who are interested in Comics and Bat brothers - there's this particularly uh-ma-zing series that anyone who's dying to see some canon Bat-bro bonding needs to read. ALL FOUR OF THEM!

Batman & Robin eternal.

If you haven't read it - go now. It's worth it and the ending made me tear up - the nostalgia was real with this one guys.

Hey, I know I'm a bit late - don't now why I haven't heard of this until last week but -

There is an animated movie with ALL FOUR ROBINS IN IT!

You read right, if you haven't seen it - go now.

If you've been waiting for some substantial evidence that all the Robins can be in one show/movie - we have it!

And I am into many, many more other shows and movies . . can't remember them all right now. Man, you'd think getting to older than a teen would give me older taste in shows. Nope. Still in love with cartoons, Anime, and comics.

I need a life.
