Every hero's story starts somewhere, but I admit, my beginning was hardly impressive. I wonder if Skyrim's people would be disappointed to learn that it was nothing more than a love of magic, a hatred of fishing, and a healthy dose of boredom that set their unlikely saviour's feet on the path of the Dragonborn… oh, and the random, insane cult of kidnapping mages. It started as admiration for the woman's work, but Sybil's growing obsession became her ultimate downfall. Pre-canon Sybil/Red

Alduin is dead, and Tamriel is at peace. But now the ships begin to land, ships bearing invaders from a land beyond Tamriel, and their only purpose is conquest. As Skyrim burns, the Dragonborn's grandson must leave behind all he knows, for only he can end the conflict. But his journey takes him far from home, into the invaders' kingdom, to the land that holds the answers - Akavir.

Upon the death of Alduin, the Dragonborn founded an order. An alliance of mortals and dragons, who would defend Skyrim against any evil that threatened it. But they could not have foreseen the enemy that a band of necromancers would create, or the army that would rise to follow him. If the Dragonhearts fall now, Skyrim falls. And so the Dragonborn's daughter must seek her destiny.

I thought I was destined to be no one in particular. And I was happy about that. Then I went off to Skyrim to join the Bard's College and ended up nearly killed, proclaimed Dragonborn, and told I was supposed to save the world, bring about world peace, and feed the children. And I have this really annoying companion I'm hopelessly in love with. And no, I am NOT okay with this.

Every hero with the luck to be remembered is one in a thousand. Before the Dragonborn built his legacy, the unsung multitudes of Skyrim all played their part in shaping the world he would fight for. Some might be called heroes themselves. Others might be called villains. But whether they go remembered or not, all of them lead their own stories. Part three of the CoT series.
