Author has written 15 stories for Fairy Tail.
Hi everyone! I'm a 36 year old wife and mother who has found herself obsessed with Fairy Tail since October 2013. My first experiences with anime/manga was during high school in the mid 90's. Both Sailor Moon and Dragon Ball would play in the morning before I had to get on the bus to go to school. I loved the romance between Serena and Darian in Sailor Moon and in Dragon Ball I thought that Yamcha was so hilarious whenever he was near Bulma. Anime wasn't a big thing for me during college. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoyed several that I watched with my boyfriend (now husband) especially Blue Seed and El-Hazard. Vampire Hunter D was good too. Then not much over the years. My family even watched all the seasons of Dragon Ball together--not just the first one. Then, during the summer of 2013, my husband found a cartoon that he thought looked interesting--Ranma 1/2. I was hooked. It was so funny that I had to read the manga. So I did that. Meanwhile, my husband found another cartoon to watch with our kids--Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood. So when I finished reading Ranma, I moved on to that manga. What a great story. When that was finished I felt lost. I knew I wanted to read more manga, but what one? So I started searching for a new one. What I finally found became my obsession. Fairy Tail. I just couldn't get enough of Natsu and his boyish grin and sexy muscles. I zoomed through the anime and the manga, but I needed more. Hurray for fanfiction! Now I can read about some actual romance between Natsu and Lucy as well as write some myself.
Manga/anime I've finished reading/watching
Clannad/Clannad After Story--such a good story, very sad, but a worthwhile watch
Dragon Ball--the first season was the best; I like silliness better than fights that take up several episodes.
Deathnote--Didn't finish. After an important character died, I lost interest pretty quickly.
Ranma 1/2--one of my favorites, quite silly, but a very fun read. I wish it had ended differently, but thankfully resolution fanfics exist for that.
Inuyasha--pretty fun series and I like the element of romance that Takahashi adds to her manga
Full Metal Alchemist--This is my number one recommendation that everyone read and watch. Soooo good.
Amnesia--pretty cool story, mainly watched it to listen to Tetsuya Kakihara as Shin, but I did enjoy watching it
Fruits Basket--such a cute story!
Toradora--a must see, seriously love this one
Lovely Complex--not only is the romance here good, but the friendship between the two main characters is excellent
Kampfer--don't bother unless you like over the top ecchi harem and occasionally yuri stuff
Mikakunin de Shinkoukei-cute little anime
Faster Than A Kiss--cute
Otomen--very silly shojo, maybe even a little over the top.
Rave Master--a must read for any Mashima fan
Naruto--I like this one a lot. Funny, cool fight scenes, and even a small element of romance, but why did you have to ruin Gaara's hair at the end, Kishimoto?
Kotoura-san--funny
Bokura ga Ita (aka We Were There)--has some adult themes. Good story. I want to watch the anime some day.
Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou (aka Daily Lives of High School Boys)--hilarious!
Crossroad--cute
Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun (aka My Little Monster)--probably my favorite shojo. I'd like to own the tankobon someday.
Soul Eater--I love Death the Kid's obsession with symmetry and Black Star's supersized ego.
Hataraku Maou-sama! (The Devil is a part-timer)--for being an evil overlord, Maou is a pretty nice guy!
Gakko no Kaidan (aka Ghost Stories)--ONLY watch the english dub! You will not be disappointed, it is freaking hilarious; the VAs must have had a ton of fun with it.
Ouran High School Host Club--very zany, it took me awhile to really get into it (like not until it developed a plot), but it was quite good then.
Manga that I've read and now read the weekly or monthly chapters
Fairy Tail--MY FAVORITE FOREVER
Bleach--it's okay; I think it should've ended after he defeated Aizen though
One Piece--it's okay, it has its funny moments, but I prefer something with at least a little bit of romance.
Ao no Exorcist--I really love this one, Rin is such a cutie and I really love their clothes. Love Renzo Shima too.
Ao Haru Ride--it's pretty cute, I'm enjoying it.
Say I Love You--I think I binge-read this in two days, it was so good. I like that it has more adult-oriented themes too.
Natsu no Zenjitsu--beautiful art style, really like the story too
Dengeki Daisy--this shojo has an interesting mystery/action story to it. I love her catchphrase of "Go Bald, Kurosaki!"
Kimi ni Todoke--the main characters are such cuties.
Shingeki no Kyojin (aka Attack on Titan)--so much death, those that have survived are pretty lucky (or perhaps unlucky, if you think bout it). Levi is awesome.
Nanatsu no Taizai (aka The Seven Deadly Sins)--it's really really good. I love Meliodas and King. The anime follows the manga quite well, which I approve of.
Noragami--sooo good, everyone's so cute and it's such a cool story. My favorite part had to be when Hiyori gave Yato the little shrine.
Skip Beat!--I've fallen in love with this one. I love how involved Ren and Kyoko get in their characters. It's going to be so satisfying when they finally get together.
Gekkan Shojo Nozaki-kun (aka Monthly Girl's Nozaki-kun)--hilarious, love Nozaki's one track mind, love the three "couples", and Mikorin is super cute
Manga/anime I'm currently reading/watching
Deadman Wonderland
Yu Yu Hakusho
Gintama--effing hilarious, it makes me want to read more shonen manga to understand more of the jokes, especially love all interaction between Okita and Kagura
Sword Art Online
Magi
Kekkaishi
Bakuman
Yamada-kun to nanin no majo (aka Yamada and the Seven Witches)--so much kissing, yet so little of it being romantic!

Omakes that Mashima needs to write:
-How Lucy got Taurus' key
-What's going on in Edolas now that it's seven years later
-The Strauss siblings and the Raijinshuu go on a mission/hang out together
-One where Natsu and Lucy accidentally kiss (and when he actually does draw their kiss, it better be a close up, not some faraway scene like what he gave to Haru and Elie!)
-One that shows where the other men in Fairy Tail live (Gray and Gajeel especially)
I love other things besides Fairy Tail!
author: Neil Gaiman (Terry Pratchett is a close second)
book: Pride and Prejudice (the miniseries with Colin Firth is the best movie adaption for it)
movie: The 10th Kingdom (also love Tangled, Guardians of the Galaxy, Stardust, and Hedwig and the Angry Inch)
band: Led Zeppelin (also a big fan of Queen--I can't help but sing along with all their songs)
sport: Swimming (Fun to watch and do!)
other activity: Baking (Darn sweet tooth)
video game: Legend of Zelda and Harvest Moon
Some other things I like: Harry Potter, The Hunger Games, Game of Thrones, Greek myths, cross-stitching, Adventure Time, and Avatar: The Last Airbender to name a few.
I've realized that I like playboy characters. Miroku from Inuyasha and Sanji from One Piece are both my favorites from their series. I like Shima almost as much as I like Rin in Ao no Exorcist. And after Natsu and Lucy, I love Loke the most out of everybody from Fairy Tail. I wonder what that love of playboys says about me personally?
I plan to write Nalu fanfiction cause that's what I love. I just don't get the attraction of pairing Natsu with Lisanna when they spend almost no time together in the manga. From what we've been shown in the manga, I don't even think that there was even any sort of childhood crush between Natsu and Lisanna. On either side. They liked hanging out together and got along pretty well, but it's pretty obvious that Natsu became closer to Lucy in the few months he's known her than in the four years he was friends with Lisanna before her "death".
I absolutely loathe the stories where Lucy is called weak/replaced with Lisanna/kicked off Team Natsu/leaves Fairy Tail to become a dragon queen (or some other nonsense). OOC much?
I find myself liking Naruto fanfiction too. I don't care about the pairings there, although I guess I prefer Naruto x Hinata. And Gaara (Gaara, sexy, sexy, Gaara) with any of the Konaha girls. I doubt I'll write about it though.
