I'm a mid-30's person who got into this fandom late April/early May 2015 after watching the film several times, and seeing the incredible relationship between the sisters (as well as the unintended subtext). :)

My start in the fandom was simply reading works here on FFn for several months. In September 2015, I extended my reach to reading on AO3 as well. Then, in early November 2015, I found that a wonderful story (which at the time was still in progress, it's now been completed) I'd been reading for several months had been pulled from FFn by it's author due to unwarranted negative feedback. This sent me into the realm of Tumblr to try to find out what happened, where I stumbled across a new initiative, which at the time was called Defeating Writer's Block (now Elsanna Collaboration Corner). I found a marvelous group of authors there and was immediately welcomed warmly, even though I was(/am) still very 'green' to writing. Within that group, I've contributed on several works (which you can find on FFn under the author ). In July 2016, I published the start of my first solo work.
