Victory can prove bitter, especially when you're the only one alive to see it. For now I have given myself a mission, actually being the greatest thief in Vale! I also need to screw over Cinder, save Pyrrha and Penny, and not end up dead in the process.

Well, maybe more strolling around looking for Udon and the way home than stirring but that's beside the point; a bald justice has emerged into Remnant with his sidekick, seeking justice and defending the weak. The Hunt has ended, the Hunters contract now fulfilled. Awakening in a strange world, a young Hunter must find his purpose.

When a unknown energy disturbance and an increase of Grimm occurs in Forever Fall forest, teams RWBY, JNPR, and CFVY are sent out to investigate. However, all they are dissolving corpses of the Grimm and bloody youth who wears a strange symbol on his clothes and apparently has amnesia. The three teams take him back to Beacon, but only time will tell if they made the right decision.

Jaune Arc wanted to be a hero and when he found an ancient artefact, which somehow unlocked his aura and semblance, he knew he would become one. But those powers aren't the only thing that came with the legacy he accidentally inherited, for the dream to be a hero is a terrible one and it leads to pain and sacrifice. Maybe this time it will be different. Third time the charm, right?
