![]() Author has written 5 stories for Naruto, X-overs, and Digimon. As far as a bio goes, I'll suffice to say I'm a mid 20s nerd who has been here a long time. In that time, I came, I wrote some, I didn't write as much as I should, and that kinda ended up with a bunch of stories that never will get finished. It's sad. I hate it. But, as much as being an adult sucks, I kinda loved it here so much that I wanna come back. Do my thing, as it were. So, here's the deal. Out of my unbridled love for both Naruto and Spider-Man, Amazing Spider-Nin will continue on. But, everything else is pretty much dead. I'll post some snippets in Mind Probe (that one will continue to get updates of course) as time goes on just because, but I'm pulling all plugs on anything else. A lot of those stories were arduous work and that's not the kind of work I want to do with this kind of writing. I'll keep the inspirations up and I'll add new stories if and when they get posted. Stories Research and Development Naruto, pre series divergence Status: Discontinued. An amalgamation of several Naruto fanfictions I had written and long since deleted as well as many new ideas, RD is basically my brainchild. It's awfully old, since first being posted, and has undergone major plot changes that none of you have really seen. It began as something else entirely, a sort of hate-porn of Naruto getting revenge on his tormentors, and has become sort of my engine of exploration of many concepts. Some of them include: how the mind is influenced from use of the scientific process, the cost of progress, and the removal of the lenses of nostalgia. What's wild about R&D is that some of the inspiration I have for it comes from TES5: Skyrim of all places. The concept of things being 'lore-friendly', 'lore-compliant', and such is what helped me draw from a number of different sources to create what I create in R&D. I don't know if I'll ever choose to just straight up break all of canon, even like background canon, but it could happen. Honestly, this was a bigger ambition than it should have been, and from a time when I was younger and needed to explore something...different I guess in this space. I kinda lost my plot in re-writes so it died a pretty meaningless death on the drawing board. KyuubiWindscar's Mind Probe All Genres Status: Indefinitely In-Progress Bunch of One-Shots that could turn into full story ideas or just die on the screen. Either or. Supernal Epic Digimon, AU of 02 Universe Status: Discontinued SE is my (technically second, but the first in over a decade) foray into the world of Digimon FF, inspired by Minion of Set's Second Coming: Providence. It was almost a crossover between it and the game it draws a lot of it's new expanded mythos from, Square Enix's Infinite Undiscovery. If you played the game before, you should enjoy the homages paid to the series and my (hopefully) seamless blending with the Digimon mythos. This one is sometimes hard to write, since SE is one of the nearest to my heart. Digimon taught me so much in life, and I want to do the Adventure 02 story justice as well as add in parts that were cut and kind of smooth out the continuity with the games while also telling a story of children drafted into a war during a time of their life that they should feel the most free. Honestly, I'm probably gonna do a newer version of Supernal Epic. A lot of the source material came from that obscure ass SE game on the Xbox 360 (that was clearly a beta for Star Ocean) and that while I do love it to pieces, the plot was just not that great. The lore was fantastic though and I wish that got expounded upon. But alas, here it is. In the scrap pile. Turtle Destruction Wave Naruto/DBZ fusion, pre-series divergence Status: Discontinued This one started as mostly just...a fun idea. I had started to realize just how much Naruto drew from the Dragon Ball franchise, as well as re-reading the famous Legacy of the Rasengan series, when the idea of Naruto using the titular ability popped into my head. My original plan for this story was to be mostly a parody, but at some point I gave it a real plot and plan to continue. So, I came back to this after a long time. Basically, it started with a scene (I won't tell because it will SPOIL) that I thought would be iconic. But now, after a long time and promising myself I wouldn't go back to the Naruto or Dragon Ball fandoms...I'm gonna make a liar out of myself here and dive deep into the wikis for both and come up with some more plot ideas to add to what I have. Even though I did make a liar out of myself (I've watched some Super, but none of Boruto) there wasn't enough in me to really churn this one out. Mainly because I didn't pick where to start the damn story. The Amazing Spider-Shinobi Naruto/Spider-Man & Avengers fusion, Series start divergence Status: Ch3: Web of Shadows As a huge fan of the "make the main character an Expy of another universe, in their own universe" form of storytelling, TASS (yes I noticed) is my attempt at trying to truly blend two characters that are both parallel and so different from each other into one. It also allows me to explore identity crises, which I think get glossed over with the same old "mask" metaphors that have been in circulation for over a decade. Plus, it's fun figuring out how web swinging is useful in the wide open world of Naruto. I think what pulls me to this one out of all the others is that the magic that is Spider-Man Homecoming, Far From Home, and Into the Spider-Verse. It just inspires me a ton and I feel like I can write just this one if it's my only story. So, I'll start here. |
