She is Gaia

the living skin of energy

and growth over bare stone

She is Demeter

whose gift of grain

fills our fields and our bellies

She is Hestia

who keeps the hearth

and Her breath is our warmth

She is Tiamat

whose body was sundered

to form the heavens and the earth

She is Terra

who supports us while we live

and surrounds us when we die

She is Earth

heart and home, without whom

we could not exist

She is the Great Mother

the source from which all life springs

the sink to which all life returns

let us honor Her

have a care in all we do:
