I'm Lady Rain.

An American, born and raised in Oklahoma, but am currently living with my Belgian husband in Belgium. Been here close to ten years, it's pretty neat and the chocolate and the pastries are to die for. Rains a lot. Humm what else can be said about Belgium? Nothing you could understand without having lived here for years I guess. :) Lots of beer, but I don't drink beer or any type of alcohol..or even coffie for that matter. Did I say the chocolate was good?I can't stress that enough. And it rains a lot. I can't stress that enough either. :D

What am I humm..well lets see..I'm a book reader, and a story writer, book collector, movie lover, internet nut, gaming nut..and well just a general nut. :D I love books, books and more books, animals, my hubby, and did I mention I loved books?

My hobbies are obviously reading and writing, I draw, I'm a gamer (Computer, PS3, WII, X-Box 360, PSP, DS etc)I read more comic books than are good for me and I spent most of my time lost in a nice, and interesting fantasy world located inside my own head. (That is when reality doesn't get in the way.) Still, like I have been for years, trying to write a book.

As stories go I like angst, humor, drama, fantasy, and of course anything with my favorite characters as a main character..but in most instances I draw the line at Yaoi and Slash, especially where the Ninja Turtles are concerned.

In terms of what TV Shows or Movies I like it's not that difficult... I kinda like everything. I'm a movie and TV buff so I love everything from Star Trek, Star Wars, BattleStar Galactica, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Buffy and Angel, Xena, Hercules, X-Files, House M.D, Lost, Bones, Heroes, Knight Rider, MacGyver, CSI, Lois and Clark: New Adventures of Superman, Farscape, The Lord of the Rings, X-Men, Spider-Man, I'm a fan of the WWE and I like manga. Im a new Whovian. My Doctor is Eleven, my companions are Amy, and Rory. I also love Supernatural and consider myself Bi-Bro with Dean leanings. Also Cas is adorable.

My absolute favorite author is Terry Pratchett. If you haven't read any Diskworld books...where the heck have you been all this time under a rock? I love Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Mystery, and Thrillers. Like I say I like just about everything if it's well written. My favorite movies range from DragonHeart, to You've Got Mail, XXX, Chronicles of Riddick, Pitch Black..heck all Vin Diesel movies. All Pirates of the Caribbian movies and anything with Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom (whoohoo!)All Bruce Willis movies, all Robin Williams movies..heck there are few movies I don't like. Except for War themed and Mafia themed movies, I've never seen The Godfather and I never will. I'll also never again watch a Tom Cruise movie, because he's an idiot. I'm also not a big fan of senseless violence, the kind you see in Hostel or those types of movies I guess it's because I'm too kind hearted but those movies bother me.

Humm am I done telling you people all the stuff you probably don't care about? Yeah I guess. If you read my stories and you like them don't hesitate to leave a review..and if you have some nice and constructive criticisum..feel free to share it. Notice I did say nice, and constructive yes?I'll also add polite, friendly, possibly nice again, and again I'll stress the nice..on the criticisum thing.

And yes I'm a smart ass who thinks she's incredibly funny, thanks for noticing. G
