My beliefs regarding fanfiction

1) Flat characters should be avoided- No one stays the same forever, as we go through life we evolve and grow as people so just having someone just be the same if not bad, but I personally don't like it.

2) No on is born evil nor good- People are not born to be good nor evil. They are born to live. Naruto does a great job with this whole they may be antagonist but they are not truly evil. With all of the major, and minor, villains having reasons, good reasons, for what they do. Most of the time it was for any kind of peace.

3) Never bash... Ever- Bashing is sad, sorry but I find it almost pathetic. If I offended you that's too bad. However, bashing is just people who are too blinded by some dislike of a character to realize what fanfiction is about. Fanfiction is re-imagining of worlds that already exist. If you don't like how someone is, try rewriting them! If a character annoys make them different. I'm not saying all characters have to be cool, make them mean, make them assholes, make them arrogant jerks. But don't bash them. Stuff like

"He walked down the street looking retarded, every word he said caused everyone if the world to hate him. He was just such a fag that no one liked him"

NO! BAD stop that. I've seen too many lines that just put a character down for no reason other than personal ones, stop it. It hurts you, your story, and the

Amazing Fanfiction authors you should read

Kenchi618- While his updates aren't common, each one his a good 10k words. His mastery of the English language makes it so that he paints an amazing picture with vivid color, and great characters its awesome. Less then Zero being my favorite

Fairy Tail Dragon Slayer- ah yes this guy, hm it's funny i use to be a huge fan of this one. However recent times I couldn't handle his seemingly religious writing of Naruto. However if you like diverse plots, and a cool Naruto then this is the author for you. Naruto the twintails is a good place to start

Akallas von Aerok- My opinion may be a bit biased due to my writing a spin-off story for him, and him having my Oc. But he is still amazing, and his story Re: gamer is amazing. However, the gamer of Konoha is the best starting place due to the fact it is the original story from Gamer

Tahimikamaxtli- Now this guy wrote an amazing fic about League of Legends called Follow the wind. And even though he took down all his other stories in order to rework them he left to follow the wind, I recommend you check it out. Even if you don't play league you can enjoy this story.
