In case you're wondering, "anastigmat" is the name given to a type of lens -- four glass elements, cemented into two doublets -- used in Zeiss cameras manufactured in the early part of the 20th century. At the time it was quite a revolutionary piece of technology, though it's hardly a patch on the multiple-element lenses of today.
