This is Lucien's friend, Kevin. I wanted to let his friends on here know that Luc passed away Sunday night. He had been riding his bike on Friday morning when he was hit by a car that lost control and swerved onto the shoulder of the rode. Luc fell into a coma later that same day and the injuries to his brain where simply too severe. Because Luc was a private person who took his writing very seriously and personally, I have purged his account in the hopes of stopping plagiarizers from stealing his stuff. I have already deleted the e-mail account set up with this site, so any messages you may send will go unanswered. I would like, however, to thank those of you that sent him birthday wishes on Thursday. I know that seeing those meant a lot to him.

I will not be logging back on to check messages as there is simply too much to do right now in terms of preparing for his funeral and settling his estate. Please understand that. Thank you.

I know that Luc will be missed and that he most likely misses us. He was a wonderful man with an enormous heart. It pains me that he had just started heading in a direction, professionally and personally, that was making him truly happy. He had just turned 28 years old and still had so many people left in the world that hadn't been touched by his sweet smile and warm laughter. He will be remembered through those of us who loved him.
