Her chosen name is the Waterfall, for the tears and the beauty entwined in her life. So it was chosen and so it shall be, The order is stamped with the Seal of the Time Lords. BOOK STATUSES: At the Mercy of the Mind: A Journey into the Depths of Sherlock Holmes: For sale as a Kindle eBook at $5.99 on all Amazon sites. (See above link.) Deliver Us from Evil, Book I: Mortality: WIP. The first novel in a series depicting Sherlock Holmes’s final struggle with Professor Moriarty, the subsequent Great Hiatus, and the finale of the war between Scotland Yard and the Moriarty criminal empire. Working towards Christmas 2012 for release, but making no promises. Check blog for information and future updates. Vignettes related to the DUE series can be read in Tales from the Great Hiatus on-site. Now has TV Tropes pages (search Deliver Us from Evil Series TV Tropes). FIC STATUSES: Sherlock Holmes: A Mother’s Heart: Feel bad about leaving this one in limbo for so long. Collection of vignettes about the small Watson family from the POV of Mary Watson—most revolve around baby Arthur. Will update in the future—need time & inspiration to come up with something. A Study in Stardom: No idea when this can be updated. It was never meant to be a regular serial fic in the first place, just something that I’d come back to every now and then when I had an idea. On the other hand, I actually have an idea… I just don’t have the drive for it. *sighs* It is an SH/real-life AU, a.k.a. Granada crossover-verse, in which Holmes & Watson help Granada film their famous series, and develop lasting friendships with Jeremy Brett, David Burke, and Edward Hardwicke. A Time to Heal: Ooo, not updated since January 2011… It started out with a case of writer’s block, continued with immersion in AMM to get it finished for a Summer '11 release, and continued further with a near-complete loss of connection to the characters and that particular universe. Reading it, you can tell that it’s my first SH fic, and that I was still familiarizing myself with Holmes & Watson as I wrote it. There’s a big gap between now and way back then, and, to be honest, I’m not sure it’s surmountable. I might be able to finish it someday, but for now, I just can’t. I think I need inspiration (reviews are helpful)… ATtH is the story of Holmes and Watson finding themselves in New York State 2025, where they are taken in by a fractured family. The duo develop a father-child relationship with the seven children, and a special relationship with the mother, independent investigative consultant Kathleen Duran. Becoming the Great Detective: (Same universe as A Study in Stardom…) Jeremy Brett is mistaken for Sherlock Holmes and kidnapped by a smuggling ring; he decides to act as decoy for the Great Detective to allow Holmes to continue his investigation unhindered. …Haven’t gotten very far; the muse got a prologue and two chapters out before deciding to quit on me. Don’t worry, I’ll make her continue it—it’ll just take some time. Please be patient in the meantime! Enemies Within, Part I: So Many: A talk with a friend derailed a lot of the (admittedly vague) ideas I had for this projected epic. It's currently on hiatus while I try to figure out how to work it all out. Apologies! The Innocence of a Child: Another indefinite hiatus! The first chapter has long been giving me serious issues - deepest apologies for that. Fully intend to continue it... one of these years... It’s a Wonderful Life, Doctor: Oyyy veyyy… Will be continued and completed sometime in the future—no idea when, though. Writer’s block is a terrible thing. …A Christmas story: Dr. Watson falls into severe financial trouble and, already depressed, is tempted to commit suicide—until an angel shows him how profoundly his life has touched the lives of others. Based on the Jimmy Stewart classic. Merged: Shards of Existence: Already subjected to completely sporadic updates. Experimental vignettes for future novel Merged, sending a modern private detective back to London 1890, courtesy of a time machine stolen from the CIA. Stepping Through the Wardrobe: Every now and then, I really want to continue this story... and then I lose the drive. *sighs* Maybe if I can get my hands on LWW again, book or film... I have NOT forgotten it, though, and it WILL be finished someday. Tales from the Great Hiatus: Again, subject to sporadic updates. Will have more in the future—just be patient! Title is self-explanatory. Sherlock: Avenging Angels: Once again, subject to sporadic updates. Actually has just a few chapters left—makes the writer's block all the more frustrating. An AU ending to TGG (severely AU to Season 2), Mycroft’s choices lead to a mixed-up situation in a hospital that puts Sherlock’s life in further danger. Fortunately, Anthea, Irene Adler, and Geoffrey Lestrade are ready to do battle if need be. Star Wars: Across the Stars, Book 2: Destiny’s Call: An AU of RotS that has been stuck with just a few chapters for over a year. Typical case of writer’s block and new obsessions. Plan to finish it in the future, just not sure when. Sincerest apologies to my wonderful audience! Legacy of Thrawn: Stuck in limbo with just three (I think) more updates to go. I know it’s been well over a year since the last update, and I’m terribly sorry for that. Siriwan 50: Shippin’ title, gotta love it. This will probably be updated eventually—it was never meant to be a serious serial collection, anyway. Buzz Lightyear of Star Command: For Good I: Breakaway: On Hiatus Indefinitely. My sincerest apologies to the little handful of readers enjoying it. First I lost all drive for the story, then I regained it, then I lost it again. *rolls eyes at self* Does have a collection of TV Tropes pages, though (search For Good TV Tropes). Galactic Treasure: A National Treasure/BLoSC merging of situations and characters… Never got past the prologue. May yet be updated and even finished someday—maybe if I ever watch the movie again… Penumbra: An emotional epic that never made it past the first chapter… *another sigh* This actually might be continued someday—I would not say it’s as hopeless as Breakaway. Writer’s block damaged the flow of the story, which is why it’s never gotten farther. Ships 50 BLoSC: Buzz/Mira shipping vignettes. May be updated again someday—if there’s one thing that fires my muse for BLoSC, it’s this pairing. Marvel Cinematic Universe: What Love Can See: Writer's block yet again. I'm afraid Doctor Who kind of got in the way, and I'm truly sorry about that. Hope to continue the story sometime, but can't say when. (Maybe once The Avengers comes out on DVD in September...) Shout-Out: To Riandra (http://www.fanfiction.ws/u/3677015/Riandra) and her amazing AU A Study in Regret. We Sherlockians all contemplate the what-ifs of Reichenbach, right? There are so many things that could have happened there... so many things that could have gone wrong. Watson could have died; Holmes could have been captured by Moran. That's where A Study in Regret (ASIR) comes in. What really sells the whole thing is that it could have so easily spiraled down into irritating Wangst, but it doesn't. Holmes's depression, guilt, and suicidal thoughts are rendered with chilling accuracy. More than that, however, there is just enough humor, enough rays of sunshine, to keep us afloat while we follow the Great Detective through the realistically long and painful process of finding the strength and the hope to live again. Now go treat yourself to it - I promise you that it's an emotional journey worth taking. You have no idea what you're missing if you don't. This is one of those rare gems of fanfiction that equals and transcends the Canon. OTPS: Beer (Buzz/Mira), Sherbeth (Sherlock Holmes/Beth Lestrade), Ninth Doctor/Rose, Mythea (Mycroft/Anthea), Sherlolly (Sherlock/Molly), Luke/Mara, Siriwan (Obi-Wan/Siri), Watson/Mary. Couples I love: John/Sarah, Anakin/Padmé, Han/Leia, Talon Karrde/Shada Dukal, Thraris (Thrawn/Maris), Thrass/Lorana, Wine (Warp/Mira, alternate ship), Rex/Ahsoka, Faramir/Éowyn, Disney!John Smith/Pocahontas (yes, really!). Couples I've created: Dare (Warp Darkmatter/Erin Frame), Lestrade/Annie (ACD canon-compatible). Time for BLoSC support stuff! I ship/support Buzz/Mira (Beer), and believe that it is completely canonical. If you do, too, copy and paste this to your profile, and add your name: Aleine Skyfire I ship/support Warp/Mira (Wine), and believe that it is completely IC. If you do, too, copy and paste. I'm a fan of Warp Darkmatter, and I believe that he would have returned to Star Command if the series had continued. If you at least agree with the second part, copy and paste! Buzz Lightyear is my hero, and I think he's a really great guy underneath that arrogance and denseness. If you do, too, copy and paste. Mira Nova is my heroine. Everybody loves her, but if she's YOUR heroine, too, copy and paste. I support NON-slash Buzz/Zurg. If you do, too, copy and paste. I believe that BLoSC is our galaxy in the future. If you do, too, copy and paste. Fanfic Support Stuff: I support fan-authors' freedom to write what they want the way they want it, provided that they still respect the characters. The USA still has the right of free speech, though largely forgotten. I support Christian fanfic! If you do, too, copy and paste. Okay, time for the regular copy-and-paste stuff! Pluto was declared no longer a planet on August 27, 2006, because it was "too small" and "off its orbit" for some scientists' likings. If you think Pluto should still be a planet, copy and paste this to your profile. LONG LIVE PLUTO!! You know you live in 2008 when... 1.) You accidentally enter your password on a microwave. 2.) You haven't played solitaire with real cards for years. 3.) The reason for not staying in touch with your friends is they don’t have a screenname or Myspace. 4.) You'd rather look all over the house for the remote instead of just pushing the buttons on the TV. 6.) Your boss doesn't even have the ability to do your job. 7.) As you read this list you keep nodding and smiling. 8.) As you read this list you think about sending it to all your friends. 9.) And you were too busy to notice number 5. 10.) You scrolled back up to see if there was a number 5. 11.) Now you are laughing at yourself stupidly. 12.) Put this in your profile if you fell for that, and you know you did. Serious Support Stuff: Even when you can’t see Him, GOD is there! If you believe in GOD, put this in your profile. 96 percent of teens in the world today don't stand up for God. If you are one of the 4 percent that does put this in your profile. If you love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and mind; add your pen name and copy and paste this onto your profile: Queen Su, QueenChristytheNoble, Historian1912, Aleine Skyfire If you think abortion is murder copy and paste this on to your page and add your name to the list: Shotzee1881, ladychristythenoble, Historian1912, Aleine Skyfire If you hate child abuse, post this on your profile!! Month one Mommy Month Two Mommy Month Three You know what Mommy Month Four Mommy Month Five You went to the doctor today. Month Six I can hear that doctor again.
