Things that people get wrong about Naruto/cliches, that piss me off

. Sannin is a rank;

Sannin isn't a rank, it is a title, a nickname, a moniker, a sobriquet, an appellation, an epithet, a designation, an entitle, a cognomen, an apellative, a fucking label given to Jiraiya, Tsunade and Orochimaru by Hanzo the Salamander in honor of their strength and skill.

. Kakashi is a complete and utter, biased, favouriting douche ;

While kakashi may not be the best teacher in the world, nowhere does it indicate that he always favors Sasuke. The only reason he solely trained Sasuke during the Chuunin exams was to keep him alive against Gaara, cause that guy was a beast. Nowhere does it show that Kakashi worships the toilet paper Sasuke wipes his ass with, or that he intentionally ignores the others. While he does teach Sasuke more, that was only to keep him alive, and he never got the chance to train Naruto and Sakura further before Sasuke ran off to Orochimaru, where Naruto immediately left with Jiraiya and Sakura immediately went to Tsunade. He may not be the best teacher, but he is not a complete scumbag that worships Uchiha and hates Naruto, like so many writers depict him as.

. Naruto was beaten constantly as a child;

It was never mentioned, implied or shown that Naruto was beaten. He was glared at, talked about, and ignored, but never was he physically struck. If you listen to the Sandaime, he says how he was denied the right to exist, and how painful it must be. He never said he was physically injured, or went through things that even Jason Stathan couldn't shake off. It may have been an interesting take (im sure) years ago, but now its turned into a cliche, one that's overused, tired and raped repeatedly.

. Kami gives a shit;

Need i go into detail. He/She's Kami-God, Shinigami, whatever- he/she doesn't help people with tough lives because he/she feels sorry for them. If that were to happen, we'd all know about it. On the subject, Kami doesn't appear before people- again, we'd hear something about it- and take beaten and abused children away, its too implausible even for fan fiction.

. The formula

You know what it is, Naruto gets beat by mob, character from other anime helps, shouts at Sandaime, Sandaime gives away S-Rank secrets at the drop of a hat, character trains and/or adopts Naruto, may leave for a training trip, Naruto becomes bad ass Kage level at age 12. We've all seen it.

. Tsunade is Naruto's godmother;

No. No she is not. Never in the manga nor the anime is it implied that Tsunade is Naruto's godmother, heck i don't think she was even in the village when Kushina was pregnant. People assume that just because Jiraiya was his godfather, that Tsunade has to be godmother, which is just extremely presumptuous. That's like saying ham is a condiment because it goes on sandwiches... Ok that doesn't actually make sense, but you know what i mean, i hope.

. Finding something else in the Forbidden Scroll;

Ok, you see this a lot. I know that originally it was a challenge by some guy who i can't exactly remember, but come on people! At least attempt to come up with an original way for Naruto to gain an ability, or item, or even Pokemon, which i actually saw once??? Anyway, this one may be a nitpick, but what i like to see in FanFiction is some originality, something i try hard to fit into my own fics.

. A memory/appearance seal;

I couldn't tell you how many times i have seen this, and sometimes i don't really mind it. But when it's done with say, FemNaru it gets tiresome fast. If you don't know what i mean there are some stories out there where Naruto goes all 'his' life before a seal breaks and he finds out he's actually a girl. Or even the fics where she pretends to be a boy, usually because she was raped or something, and later reveals her true identity, usually with a dumb original name. Now, like i implied, the first few i red like this were perfectly fine, but after a while it gets stale. And even though i say this, if i see one like this i'm probably still going to read it, because i like those kind of fics, seeing as they are few(in comparison to the large archive) and if done right they can be very interesting. Also, the memory seal, while often used, i don't mind, but when they just give him a ridiculous boost in power when removed, it's just dumb.

. The typical crossover

This one is a bit vague, so I'll go into detail In many crossovers, Naruto is nothing but a sidekick to the main character/s, contributing nothing but an extra person and stealing other peoples lines or achievements Now, i can't complain too much about it, one of mine is a little bit like this, but when its, say a One Piece crossover, where Naruto acts exactly like Luffy and takes some of his fights and/or dialogue He has nothing original going for him, no OC enemies or nothing, just stuck being Luffy's sidekick, or even his shadow. If you don't know what i mean, read a few crossovers, and you may find one like what I've described.

I know that it is Fanfiction, and that your stories can go how you want them to, and i even enjoy many a fic where these incorrect/annoying cliches are used, they just piss me off. They are my personal views and i am not saying that you have to agree with me or not/stop using them. I am merely saying what is on my mind, ignore me if you want, its your right as both a writer and a person, it is just my opinion.

A bit of advice to any writers out there; WRITING YOUR SUMMARY IN FULL CAPITAL LETTERS DOES NOT MAKE YOUR STORY SEEM ANY MORE INTERESTING! IT MAKES YOU LOOK LIKE AN IDIOT AND WILL MOST LIKELY PUT OFF MOST PEOPLE FROM READING IT!

And another thing, listen up. Morning sickness starts around about six weeks into a pregnancy- NOT LESS THAN TWELVE HOURS! For fucks sake, you don't instantly show signs of being pregnant less than a day after a child is conceived- IT JUST DOESN'T FUCKING HAPPEN! DO SOME FUCKING RESEARCH YOU LAZY SACKS OF SHIT!
