![]() Author has written 2 stories for Danny Phantom, and Batman. Hey guys! DarkShadowrule here! Currently, I'm a college student studying computer engineering, so I don't have too much time on my hands. When I do, I try to add to and fix my stories. I know a lot of you guys are probably frustrated with my long frozen uploads, and sorry about that, but it may be March or summer until I get a decent break to work on them again. The new cover art was designed using Clip Studios on a Surface Book, if anyone's looking to get into the digital art field. As cheesy as it is, I'll admit Kira is a bit of a self insert, although, more on the level of damn, what could happen if a normal person got shoved into TV rather than wishing I was cool with super powers. If I didn't give her powers, it'd be one of those god awful OC romance or tagalong plots. I try to avoid both of those two things at all costs, unless it's cannon or too adorable to pass up. The tragic backstory? A necessity to make an interesting character really. As great as it would be for her to want to go back to a loving family, the idea of a redemption arch for both sides is a lot more interesting. I intend to touch on the conflicting ideas that people change and some people never change. So we'll see where that goes. I specifically wrote this story knowing it can continue on indefinitely, so I will definitely see it through until I feel nearly everything has found its place. Fingers crossed I can close up all the plot points well and through in the final crossover. The Ghost of My World Description: The Ghost of My World is the first story in the Kira Blake series. It describes a bit of how she got to these TV dimensions and tells the story of gaining her first powers and training to be strong enough to eventually fulfill some vague prophesy proclaimed by Clockwork himself. The Bats in My Belfry (WARNING: SPOILERS FOR TGOMW): To emphasize what this story will eventually become, this is mostly about Kira training her mind rather than her abilities. She was often quite unstable, and who better to press her back into place then Batman himself, along with the Justice League of course. Based in the 2004 series The Batman, Kira and Danny must deal with more problems than they ever thought possible. Along with new challenges and enemies, they also have to deal with most of their old ones (sounds like a description of a Five Nights at Freddy's sequel), without the help of the Fentons' vast knowledge of ghosts. Analysis of Kira Blake: Kira is simply put, a troubled kid. She hasn't found her place in the world, she feels insecure of herself, and she's terrified of being uninteresting and not worthy of her family's attention. Is she worthy? If given the choice, would she keep her powers? Does she even want to go home? Who is her real family? It's a lot of coming of age, and if things go as planned, there will be a lot about accepting fate. You'll have to stick around for that one though. Spoiler. The planned world crossovers pre- United Event will go DP--Batman--Avengers--Teen Titans Post will dip into a mixture of different plot lines, including a story highly influenced by Desiree and Bruce Banner, another exploring the rise and fall of Jason Todd, one with a look at what happens when villains from multiple universes become a force too much for the most well known heroes, a few random shorter stories mixed in, and, for the most part, Kira's story will end with a very large Harry Potter crossover. I have most of it mapped out, it's just finding the time to write :P |
