Author has written 9 stories for Harry Potter, and Shakespeare. Updated 4 November 2007 Well, I know it's been forever, but I have a one shot done, and will have more soon. Age: 20 Gender: Female College: University of South Alabama in Mobile, AL (you may have never heard of it, but it ROCKS!) English/Spanish Major, thank you very much. I read Harry Potter, RENT, Shakespeare, Aldous Huxley, Jane Austen, Joan of Arcadia, and a few other types of fanfiction. I tend to bounce around when I get bored, so you never know where I'll pop up! I owe my left arm to my beta jwoods471. Let's see if she can find a use for it besides holding a coffee mug, typing, or driving. My Ships: Ron/Hermione (my first OTP) Lupin/Tonks (my new OTP) George/Alicia--some are gems, others not. I love experimenting with this pairing myself. George/Luna--seems weird but all are very well written. Fred/Angelina--who else would he be with? James/Lily & Harry/Ginny, but I usually don't read them except for a side pairing Joan of Arcadia: mainly Luke/Grace, but I also read Joan/Adam and Kevin/Lily I might also do some Thomas Hardy, Jane Austen, and Aldous Huxley. Yes, I'm a nerd. But I love it. That's why I'm a Ravenclaw. STORY PROGRESS~~~ Easy-Harry Potter--RW/HG 45 chapters. FINALLY COMPLETE! OVER470 REVIEWS! With This Ring-Harry Potter-RW/HG one-shot-Complete. Sequel to Easy. The Power of the No-Harry Potter-RL/NT REDONE! A new chapter one and summary is up. Chapter 2 is coming... Nymphadora Tonks and the Seven Deadly Sins-RL/NT 7/7 chapters done. Go Father Dorril (my Catholic priest British Lit teacher) for giving me the idea--sort of. Rain Will Make the Flowers Grow-GW/AS 2/? chapters done. Prequel/companion/sequel to Easy. If that makes any sense. How about we just leave it at companion piece. In Search of Henry-Shakespeare-Henry V-Complete Much Ado About a Shrew-Shakespeare-The Taming of the Shrew-Complete then a Harry Potter GW/AS, closely followed by FW/AJ Short, both. I hope. might do a HP/GW or a JP/LE, but I am lazy... Some favorite movies: Pride & Prejudice (2005), The Mayor of Casterbridge, Pirates of the Caribbean, Rent, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Big, Hamlet (Kenneth Branagh version), Much Ado About Nothing, The Princess Bride, Disney movies (especially Beauty & the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Lion King, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and Mulan). Fav books: Shakespeare plays, Thomas Hardy (esp The Mayor of Casterbridge and Jude the Obscure), Jane Austen (esp Pride & Prejudice and Persuasion), Harry Potter series, Shannara series, Ill Met by Moonlight, Wuthering Heights, Of Human Bondage, Brave New World, Silas Marner, Frankenstein, The Witch of Blackbird Pond, Beauty, The Other Boleyn Girl, and Shakespeare biographies (especially Shakespeare by Michael Wood, Shakespeare: The Evidence, and 1599: A Year in the Life of William Shakespeare). Evil books: Lord of the Flies, Animal Farm, Huck Finn, A Farewell to Arms, The Red Badge of Courage, The Awakening, Heart of Darkness, and Chasing Shakespeares (piece of Oxfordian propaganda crap) My secret boyfriends: 1. Orlando Bloom (especially in Pirates of the Caribbean). He's gorgeous and that accent...drool. 2. Robert Sean Leonard. He's the pediatriac oncologist in House, and also starred as Claudio in Much Ado About Nothing, as well as the suicidal boy in Dead Poet's Society whose name escapes me.I also saw him as the dad (Jesse?) in Painted House. I love his big eyes, his great hair, and his acting. Plus his voice...ah. I don't care if he's probably too old for me. 3. Luke Maberly, the guy in the Prince & Me. He's really not my type, but I love the way he rattles off Shakespeare. 4. Ewan McGregor.I liked Episode I only because of his portrayal of Obi-Wan. He's also good in Emma and Moulin Rouge. 5. Hugh Dancy. The reason I like the movie version of Ella Enchanted. He's also Essex in that new Elizabeth movie on HBO. 6. Matthew McFayden--Mr. Darcy in the new Pride & Prejudice. The first proposal scene in the rain...yummy. 7. Josh Groban. Hot. Sings. Need I say more? FAVORITE QUOTES OF ALL TIME: "We few, we happy few, we band of brothers!" Henry V, Shakespeare. "Outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend. Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read." Groucho Marx. "There is a distinct difference between good and well. Well is an adverb, good an adjective. Ask me for more information and examples." Me. "Just because you have the emotional range of a teaspoon doesn't mean we all do." Hermione to Ron in Order of the Phoenix "It wasn't Sirius she'd fallen in love with after all." Harry's thoughts about Remus/Tonks in Half Blood Prince. "There's only us, there's only now. Forget regret." Finale B in Rent. "Technology is the bane of my existence." Me. "It is better for children to read about wizards fighting evil than to grow up believing nothing is worth fighting for." Charley Reese on the Harry Potter controversy in his article "Better to Encourage Imagination." "Well, as everyone thinks I'm a mad mass murderer and the Ministry's put a ten-thousand-Galleon price on my head, I can hardly stroll up the street and start handing out leaflets, can I?" said Sirius restlessly. "And I'm not a very popular dinner guest with most of the communtiy," said Lupin. "It's an occupational hazard of being a werewolf." Order of the Phoenix, page 94.
