Author has written 2 stories for Pokémon, and Marvel. Heya everybody. Welcome to Concepts and Cookies. This account is mostly going to be for my random ideas that I want to get out of my head, a collection of concepts if you will. Hopefully, it’s going to be a large amount of things that I can look back on and feel either inspired or nostalgic. Or maybe it’s just going to be a few little bits and bobs that I can think about. But that’s not the entire point of Concepts and Cookies. Most of the ideas that I think of are just that, ideas. Writing is a hobby, something to make me relax a bit, and I don’t want to get stressed about having to finish a large story with deadlines. So, most of these are essentially one-shots/introductions that can be used for larger ideas. But if you like one, use it! I implore you! Please! I know that I won’t pursue every single one of my thoughts to its conclusion even if I do write it down, so I would love for other people to continue them. If you do like an idea and decide to use it, please PM me what you wrote! However, some stories I want to try my hand at. However long I take, even if it never reaches an end, I want to try. So, I made a system. If my story is not something I feel I’m going to continue, I’ll dub it a Concept. I’ll write this at the top and/or the bottom of the first chapter just for clarification. Feel free to borrow these or build off of them. If I want to continue it, I’ll call it a Cookie, because it’s a sweet treat that I want to keep. I'll update these at my own leisure, so don't expect them to have any set schedule, but DO expect me to continue them. I won't abandon anything that I say I'm going to use. Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy my ruminations. Cookies that I am working on are as follows: The Call - Pokemon - Chapter Five in the works, going to take a bit though because of something else that I'm working on right now... A Tourist’s Guide to the Multiverse - Crossovers - My latest new project born out of me feeling really cooped up right now for obvious reasons. I want to go somewhere, anywhere, but lo and behold there's a pandemic outside my front door. So, why not just imagine my own vacation? Here's a little description. Keep in mind that this is a Cookie, but only because I'm using it as stress relief. My idea is that it's a collection of loosely connected one shots of my self-insert travelling to different locations throughout games, books, shows, movies, etc and just sightseeing, with maybe an adventure or two while he's at it... "Through a series of convoluted events, I stumbled upon a genie in the forest. Does she grant wishes? No. Instead, I she gave me a watch that can send me to any part of the multiverse, during any time period, and now I apparently need to protect all of reality? I mean, I will… eventually. For now, I have a bucket list of places I want to see, so let’s take a road trip through the multiverse!" Yes, I know the initial concept sounds pretty dumb, especially the genie... but that's the fun of it. It's hardly something for me to take seriously, I just want to travel man. Other Concepts should be coming! Things that I want out of my head and on paper include the following: RWBY Thriller/Horror - In the show, there's a concept that aura is a physical manifestation of the soul and that "the nature of one's Semblance is noted as representing an aspect of their character." What's really interesting here is that it's never specified what aspect of a person comes out, it's just a general trait. So, what if the said Semblance is representative of the average, every day, irrational emotions that we feel. The darker, borderline psychotic thoughts that everybody has on occasion and immediately tosses in the trash because we know just how ridiculous they sound. It's a universal thing, so could a person, ANY person, manifest a Semblance that channels the worst parts of humanity's subconscious? Resident Evil Adventure/Horror(?) - No main protagonist in the Resident Evil franchise is a true civilian and I find that upsetting. Every single person is either a trained professional or connected to the world in an integral way. Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine are part of STARS, making them professional badasses, Claire is related to Chris, Leon is a police officer that becomes a Special Ops living legend, and even Ethan "I'm Looking For My Wife" White happened to be the husband to a researcher involved with an evil biochemical engineering crime syndicate. I know this game is filled with civvies, so where are they! I want a story about a person who has a rudimentary knowledge of self-defense, a person scrambling to survive using nothing but wits, luck, and (hopefully) a gun. |
