A sequel to A Night to Forget

Rick Castle has much to be thankful for this year, including the people in his life who try to set him up with a gorgeous woman named Kate Beckett. Caskett AU, Job AU.

Photographer Kate Beckett and aspiring novelist Rick Rodgers are perfectly content in their solitary lives. But it's only after an unlikely matchmaker conspires to have them meet that they realize how extraordinary their lives could become. Detective Kate Beckett was shot. She succumbed to her injuries after eight hours on the operating table. She died. At least, that's what her family and friends were told. He wants to follow Ethan Slaughter, this uncouth meathead from Gangs whose last three partners all died on the job under questionable circumstances, earning Slaughter the unfortunate nickname: "The Widowmaker."

When Special Agent Kate Beckett is offered an interview for a Secret Service position at the White House she didn't know what to expect, but even less than the position as personal protection for the first daughter, she never expected him. President/SSA AU. COMPLETE.

They said she'd been shot at a funeral. His ex had been shot at a funeral and her life depends on him stopping the bleeding. - A slightly altered version of Rise, set in the Fair's Fair universe.

"It's been a month. A month of grueling training, of learning the rules and regulations and pushing herself to the limits. A month of proving herself and then coming home to…this. To nothing." Season 6 AU.

I just escaped from possibly the most awkward date in the history of Earth, and I need to decompress. I brought ice cream. And wine. And cupcakes. 1x7, Home is Where the Heart Stops.

Castle and Beckett's first New Year as a married couple, spent at her father's cabin. A sequel to Living is Easy, although it's not truly necessary to have read that story. A chapter posted every day for advent.

Post-ep for 2x24 Beckett deals with the aftermath of Gina showing up at the precinct and then leaving for the summer with Castle. She makes great efforts to move on with her life, and then disaster strikes. "Make. Me. Care." She uttered the words one last time in a tissue thin voice, as cruel, embarrassing tears coursed down her cheeks. "Too late, Kate. You already do."

Trust, but verify. Kate Beckett loved to have control over all things concerning her private life and her job. But what will happen when she'll lose said control in one of those two aspects in her life? AU Caskett meeting.

On the verge of starting something new, Beckett accepts Castle's invitation to the Hampton's only to have Gina arrive before he can reply. The lonely summer stretches ahead but that's not the last Kate sees of Castle or his family. An AU Season Two ending and Summer 2014 Ficathon entry.

Flashforward/Flashback- a story in two parts. AU. There's a balance to the universe. There are certain things we aren't supposed to do, certain forces we aren't supposed to mess with, and this was one of them.

Rick Castle takes little Alexis to the same baseball game that newly made lead homicide detective Kate Beckett is at with her father. After a little problem in the girl's bathroom, their paths cross and leads to new adventures for the writer and detective. As they get closer together, secrets come to light. AU. Very AU.

If it only takes a moment for your life to change forever, can a 'one time thing' right the wrong? An AU Caskett meeting.

'He was simply a last resort, someone to brainstorm with. That was all.' Beckett stops by the loft seeking Castle's thoughts on their case. Set in the middle of 1x05.

Castle thought he knew how much he had to lose after Alexis was abducted, but the nightmare is just beginning. Back in New York, their lives have turned upside down in an instant and instead of being by Kate's side, her partner is in Paris. Becomes AU during Hunt. This is rated M because of a graphic description (not sexual content).

Based on a monologue from the play Crave by Sarah Kane. Set a couple of weeks after the season five Valentine's Day episode. The quiet ways they love each other. One shot.

Castle and Beckett receive a tip off that leads them to a alley way. But something happens in the alley that changes everything. This story is rated M because it contains subject matter that is for mature readers. it was written to increase awareness and communication about the subject. It does not contain smut.

A/U It's definitely not love at first sight. Prickly, aloof and strait-laced Kate Beckett isn't what Rick expected when he hires someone to protect a young Alexis. She's all business while he's all about the play. Shallow, irresponsible and a playboy is how Beckett would characterize her latest employer. But sometimes first impressions can turn out to be wrong.

There were so many things he wanted to say to her but that wasn't a part of their relationship. So he wrote her letters instead, hid them away, never intending for her to read them. Until one day, Kate stumbled upon them by mistake. Complete.

After a vivid dream, Beckett thinks she's been given a second chance. When she begins to doubt the reality surrounding her, there is only one person she can think of who has come up with crazier things than what she's living through.

Four years can make a world of difference. AU.

Castle smiles, ruffling Ava's hair. She grunts softly but her little hands wrap around his back as if grounding herself to him, staying safe and warm. On the other end of the phone, Kate laughs, but there's something there; longing or regret and his eyes close. "You're not going to be home by midnight, are you?"

Kate knew what she wanted: him. Now Kate Beckett is jobless but very much in love. This is the summer that could change everybody's lives forever.

An epilogue to the epilogue found in Unvanquished. One year later.

For months she's been gone. Months in which Castle's been forced to believe that Kate Beckett was dead. Eight full months in which he's missed her, craved her, mourned her. Now she's standing on his doorstep, two coffees in slightly shaking hands and Castle's world collapses. Direct spoilers for 4x23 Always, but most probably AU from there.

Walls fall down; that's the nature of the beast. And no matter how Kate looks at it, she's staring at piles of rubble. And from rubble, where do they go next? Slight spoilers for 4x11 and beyond.

Kate Beckett can't move on with her life until the wall around her heart crumbles. For some, it might be an insurmountable task, but for her, with Castle at her side, anything is possible. They just have to bring it down brick by brick.

There is a case about a 35 year old woman getting killed and Kate Beckett's team is called on the case. There are Caskett moments that I've made up including her telling Castle her secret that she heard him and she feels the same way.

Castle is involved in a car crash and his and Beckett's lives give a 180º turn. With a long recovery ahead, will they become closer or even farther apart? Angst and fluff in equal measure. Enjoy!
