To those who don't feel loved enough, or just thinks that life is miserable... Remember. One will always love you when the world has abandoned you, in spite of what you do or what you think you are. He accepts everything about you. He is willing to give up everything for you. In fact, he already has. JESUS LOVES YOU. ALWAYS. He cries with you, he laughs with you. You're his child, his brother, his sister. You're closer to him than you can imagine. He doesn't expect anything in return. But wouldn't we feel bad if we can't do something for one who's so dedicated to us? Well, there is one thing that we can do, and that would delight him to no end. Love him back. Percy Jackson freaks, ATTENTION! Okay, now that I've got your attention, if you have a Facebook account and really like Percy Jackson, do you mind joining a group called Olympus Worldwide? It's created by my friends, and we're kinda short on members right now. Do join, we have cookies! (Kidding) Interview me on Percy Jackson, it will go like this: Who is your favorite character? Nico di Angelo. What is your favorite moment? Well...In Daedalus's workshop, when Nico claimed himself as the Ghost King. I don't know why, but it is. When did you cry the most? When Daedalus murdered his nephew. But it was what Daedalus felt that made me cry. I hate it when someone passed over me. What is your favorite place in the book? The Underworld. I know that I sound creepy but it really is! But not the Palace of Hades though... What's your favorite place at Camp Half Blood? The cabins. I like to have my own privacy and would spend hours guarding it. Now stop invading my privacy by asking stupid questions! Coming up is a song from the Fellowship of Leaf and Stone that I simply love. Hope fades… Into the world of night Through shadows falling Out memory and time Don't say We have come now to the end White shores are calling You and I will meet again And you'll be here in my arms… Just sleeping… What can you see On the horizon? Why do the white gulls call? Across the sea A pale moon rises The ships have come To carry you home And will turn To silver glass A light on the water Grey ships pass into the West…
When the cold of winter comes Another one by Legolas Quotes I quote from Harry Potter: "No good sittin' worryin' abou' it," Hagrid said. "What's comin' will come, an we'll meet it when it does. Dumbledore told me wha' you did, Harry." Hagrid's chest swelled as he looked at Harry. "Yeh did as much as yer father would've done, an' I can' give yeh no higher praise than that." -- Hagrid, in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire Quotes from Percy Jackson and the Olympians/Heroes of Olympus: With great power... comes great need to take a nap. Wake me up later. Nico DiAngelo; The Last Olympian You deal with mythological stuff for a few years, you learn that paradises are usually places where you get killed. Percy Jackson; Battle on the Labyrinth Dreams like a podcast, Downloading truth in my ears. They tell me cool stuff." "Apollo?" I guess, because I figured nobody else could make a haiku that bad. He put his finger to his lips. "I'm incognito. Call me Fred." "A god named Fred? Percy Jackson; Titan's Curse It seemed weird calling a teenager 'sir' but I'd learned to be careful with immortals. They tended to get offended easily. Then, they blew stuff up. Percy Jackson; Titan's Curse He cleared his throat and held up one hand dramatically. "Green grass breaks through snow. Artemis pleads for my help. I am so cool." He grinned at us, waiting for applause. "That last line was four syllables." Artemis said. Apollo frowned. "Was it?'' "Yes. What about I am so bigheaded?" "No, no, that's six syllable, hhhm." He started muttering to himself. Zoe Nightshade turned to us. "Lord Apollo has been going through this haiku phase ever since he visited Japan. Tis not as bad as the time he visited Limerick. If I d had to hear one more poem that started with, There once was a godess from Sparta-" "I've got it!" Apollo announced. "I am so awesome. That s five syllables!" He bowed, looking very pleased with himself. Apollo; Titan's Curse My dear young cousin, if there's one thing I've learned over the eons, it's that you can't give up on your family, no matter how tempting they make it. Hermes Rachel: They asked me a lot of questions about you. I played dumb. Annabeth: Was it hard? Battle of the Labyrinth Apollo: You might as well ask an artist to explain his art, or ask a poet to explain his poem. It defeats the purpose. The meaning is only clear thorough the search. Percy: In other words, you don't know? Titan's Curse New lesson, class. Most monsters will vaporize when sliced with a celestial bronze sword. This change is perfectly normal, and will happen to you right now if you don't BACK OFF! Percy; The Battle of the Labyrinth It's hard to enjoy practical jokes when your whole life feels like one. Percy; The Last Olympian "Gaea?" Leo shook his head. "Isn't that Mother Nature? She's supposed to have, like, flowers in her hair and birds singing around her and dear and rabbits doing her laundry." "Let's boogie,' he (Leo) said. 'Before I come to my senses" Leo; Mark of Athena "I try not to think. It interferes with being nuts" - Leo Valdez; Mark of Athena "Jason scratched his head. "You named him Festus? You know that in Latin, 'festus' means 'happy'? You want us to ride off to save the world on Happy the Dragon?" Jason; Lost Hero "I could have killed you." "Jason muttered "And I saw something...Really terrible." "Percy blinked. "So your brother is a winged horse. But you're also my half brother, which means all the flying horses in the world are my…You know what? Lets' forget it." Percy; Mark of Athena "This is Buford," Leo announced. "You name your furniture?" Frank asked." Frank Zhang; Mark of Athena "He'd learned years ago it was better not to dwell too much on who was related to whom on the godly side of things. After Tyson the Cyclops adopted him as a brother, Percy decided that that was about as far as he wanted to extend the family." Percy; Mark of Athena "Quintus…" Geryon mused. "Short gray hair, muscular, swordsman?" "Yeah." "Now, as far as I knew, he (Luke) was still sailing around on his demon-infested cruise ship while the chopped-up Lord Kronos re-formed, bit by bit, in a golden sarcophagus, biding his time until he had enough power to challenge the Olympian gods. In demigod-speak, we call this a "problem." Percy; Battle of the Labyrinth "He just raised the dead with coke and cheeseburgers" Percy; Battle of the Labyrinth "Reyna looked at Percy without much hope. "You do have a plan?" "As Hazel marched down the hill, she cursed in Latin. Percy didn't understand all of it, but he got son of a gorgon, power-hungry snake, and a few choice suggestions about where Octavian could stick his knife." Percy; Son of Neptune God does love gay people. He doesn't love the fact that they are gay. He loves the fact that they love people, that they fight for what they believe in. He doesn't love the fact that they are fighting for the wrong thing. He loves that they support each other in the face of discrimination, that they still stand strong despite so many forces trying to batter them. He doesn't love the fact that they are being battered because they are going against the right thing, not admitting it and being battered for it. He still loves you. Personally, some people say they are born gay, but I don't understand that attraction. How do you just know? I try to read up on it, but I cannot find reliable sources. Some claim its from some sort of mental trauma, not inborn, but I am curious as to why some people are born with it. Is it set in the brain? Hormones? I want to know. I want to see how justified this stand for gay marriage is. I do not approve, but I do want to know you better. That's all. A post against abortion: Month one Mommy, I am only 8 inches long, but I have all my organs. I love the sound of your voice. Every time I hear it, I wave my arms and legs. The sound of your heart beat is my favorite lullaby. Month Two Mommy, today I learned how to suck my thumb. If you could see me, you could definitely tell that I am a baby. I'm not big enough to survive outside my home, though. It is so nice and warm in here. Month Three You know what, Mommy? I'm a boy! I hope that makes you happy. I always want you to be happy. I don't like it when you cry. You sound so sad. It makes me sad, too, and I cry with you, even though you can't hear me. Month Four Mommy, my hair is starting to grow. It is very short and fine, but I will have a lot of it. I spend a lot of my time exercising. I can turn my head and curl my fingers and toes and stretch my arms and legs. I am becoming quite good at it, too. Month Five You went to the doctor today. Mommy, he lied to you. He said that I'm not a baby. I am a baby, Mommy. Your baby. I think and feel. Mommy, what's abortion? Month Six I can hear that doctor again. I don't like him. He seems cold and heartless. Something is intruding my home. The doctor called it a needle. Mommy, what is it? It burns! Please make him stop! I can't get away from it! Mommy! HELP ME! Month Seven Mommy, I am okay. I am in Jesus' arms. He is holding me. He told me about abortion. Why didn't you want me, Mommy? Every abortion is just . . . One more heart that was stopped. Two more eyes that will never see. Two more hands that will never touch. Two more legs that will never run. One more mouth that will never speak. If you're against abortion, re-post this. Edit: Here, I'm sharing a personal experience of one of my friends. As a fetus, she almost got aborted. The doctor, through scans, determined that if her mother decided to keep her, both their lives would be in the balance. Abortion was encouraged. But her mother said no, she wanted to keep her. It turned out that the doctor made a mistake and in fact, she turned out to be a healthy and beautiful baby with absolutely nothing wrong with her. Furthermore, she is blessed with exceptional talent and beauty. She got the first in class, won prizes in drawing competitions, and awed people with her looks. To moms all over the world: Don't do something you'll regret. To those who never got to say goodbye: Mummy...Johnny brought a gun to school Katniss Everdeen in Catching Fire: "No, I've got to say goodbye!" A post against racism:The white man said, "Colored people are not allowed here." The black man turned around and stood up. He then said: "Listen sir...when I was born I was BLACK, When I grew up I was BLACK, When I'm sick I'm BLACK, When I go in the sun I'm BLACK, When I'm cold I'm BLACK, When I die I'll be BLACK. But you sir, When you're born you're PINK, When you grow up you're WHITE, When you're sick, you're GREEN, When you go in the sun you turn RED, When you're cold you turn BLUE, And when you die you turn PURPLE. And you have the nerve to call me colored?" The black man then sat back down and the white man walked away... In reality, it was a black woman who did this brave act. Yes, it is true. People can't help what they are born as, and black people aren't any lower than white people. In fact, being racist might just make you lower than them. Please at least check out the truth before you make assumptions. A 15 year old girl holds hands with her 1 year old son. People call her a slut, no one knows she was raped at 13. People call another Guy fat. No one knows he has a serious disease causing him to be overweight . People call an old man ugly. No one knew he had a serious injury to his face while fighting for our country in the war.People call a women bald but they don't know she has cancer Re-post this if you are against bullying and stereotyping. I bet 95% of you won't do Bible Jokes Who was the straightest man in the Bible? Why was Moses buried in Moab? If Solomon were alive today, why would he be considered the most extraordinary man ever? Where was the first walking stick mentioned in the Bible? Yes, I am a Christian. And yes, I am strongly against romantic interactions between the same sex, more commonly known as being gay. So what? What did God create both man and woman for? Coming up is a Christian post. Amazingly, whether you believe or not, you're never alone. Did you know that 98 of teenagers will not stand up for God, and 93 of the people that read this won’t re-post it? Jesus had no servants, yet they called him Master... He had no degree, yet they called him Teacher... He had no medicine, yet they called him Healer... He had no army, yet kings feared him... He won no military battles, yet he conquered the World... He committed no crime, yet they crucified Him... He was buried in a tomb, yet He lives today Believe in God and Jesus Christ his Son. Feel honored to serve such a leader who loves us... ISIS is murdering people all over the globe. Christians are being killed for religion, tourists are being killed for political leverage, Muslims being killed because of the misunderstanding caused by ISIS that all Muslims hold the same ideas as them, soldiers are being killed. With each death, a family mourns. With each death, one more light is snuffed out. With each death, the ground is stained with more blood. Offer up your prayers and stand strong against them. Authors News Currently receiving prompts from about every fandom I've ever been involved in, except that most of the prompts I have so far are in the Ao No Exorcist fandom, so... Second Chance Currently discussing the main plot skeleton before we progress any further (or it might end up with a hundred chapters for all we know XD). Addressing my personal views on homosexuality: I am a non-supporter. I have received several PMs, reviews, some civil, some not quite regarding the views I have openly expressed before on my profile, on here. In a recent one, I was informed that my wordings and phrases have the potential to hurt the feelings of those involved. If you are one of them, I apologize here. I'm so, so sorry that I hurt your feelings. I was wrong to do that, and nothing can justify it. I have no way of making up for that, so again, I apologize. I am aware that most of you are beautiful, kind, humorous people, and I'm sorry for treating you in that way. Okay, background time. I'm Asian, and raised in a Christian family. I truly believed in God and Jesus at age thirteen, after a personal experience with Him. The Bible says homosexuality is considered a sin. That's truly all I know about this matter. I don't know what it feels like to have a relationship that is shunned by society, or how you find out about it. There's a lot I don't know. I would like to know more, but the internet is filled with opinions from both sides. Some say it's inborn. Some say it's a result of chemicals misfiring or psychological damage. Hence, I've decided to take on a non-supporter stand. It's not the same as anti-supporter, where things get aggressive. I won't cast anyone out because of it, nor will I go on parades or tell people off on the Internet. However, I'll also put out my opinion on sites where this might be relevant such as here, where some ask me to write gay fanfiction. There's a fine line between expressing an opinion and forcing it on others, or hurting someone's feelings, and I would truly appreciate it if one of you informs me if I toe that line. If given the choice, I would choose a male-female relationship for myself, but I won't make that choice for others. I get asked that question a lot: what if your daughter comes home one day and tells you she likes a girl? To be honest, I've no idea, but how I want to react right now is surprise, ask her if she's sure, tell her she can make her own choices, and treat her as normal. I will leave breaking out the news to the rest of the family to her. Again, I did not mean to cause hurt for any of you, and I'm truly sorry. Thank you for your time and patience. Taken from Starry Roses' profile: The University professor challenged his students with this question. "Did God create everything that exists?" A student bravely replied, "Yes he did!" "God created everything?" The professor asked. "Yes sir", the student replied. The professor answered, "If God created everything, then God created evil, since evil exists, and according to the principle that our works define who we are, then God is evil." The student became quiet before such an answer. The professor, quite pleased with himself, boasted to the students that he had proven once more that the Christian faith was a myth. Another student raised his hand and said, "Can I ask you a question, professor?" "Of course", replied the professor. The student stood up and asked, "Professor, does cold exist?" "What kind of question is this? Of course it exists. Have you never been cold?" The students snickered at the young man's question. The young man replied, "In fact, sir, cold does not exist. According to the laws of physics, what we consider cold is in reality the absence of heat. Every body or object is susceptible to study when it has or transmits energy, and heat is what makes a body or matter have or transmit energy. Absolute zero (-460F) is the total absence of heat; all matter becomes inert and incapable of reaction at that temperature. Cold does not exist. We have created this word to describe how we feel if we have no heat." The student continued, "Professor, does darkness exist?" The professor responded, "Of course it does." The student replied, "Once again you are wrong, sir, darkness does not exist either. Darkness is in reality the absence of light. Light we can study, but not darkness. In fact we can use Newton 's prism to break white light into many colors and study the various wavelengths of each color. You cannot measure darkness. A simple ray of light can break into a world of Darkness and illuminate it. How can you know how dark a certain space is? You measure the amount of light present. Isn't this correct? Darkness is a term used by man to describe what happens when there is no light present." Finally the young man asked the professor, "Sir, does evil exist?" Now uncertain, the professor responded, "Of course as I have already said. We see it everyday. It is in the daily example of man's inhumanity to man. It is in the multitude of crime and violence everywhere in the world. These manifestations are nothing else but evil." To this the student replied, "Evil does not exist sir, or at least it does not exist unto itself. Evil is simply the absence of God. It is just like darkness and cold, a word that man has created to describe the absence of God. God did not create evil. Evil is the result of what happens when man does not have God's love present in his heart. It's like the cold that comes when there is no heat or the darkness that comes when there is no light." The professor sat down totally deflated.
