Hello there!

I'm a long time fan of RWBY and Roosterteeth, since around RvB Reconstruction. I got into fanfiction during the V3 hiatus, and have managed to read most of the big ones!

I also have a small YouTube channel, with three videos (currently): one where I gush about how amazing the music and emotions of RWBY are, one where I freak out Barb and Arryn with a fake arm, and one where I show how to make some pretty sweet RWBY coasters!

Time for some Fanfic love! When I said I'd read a lot, I wasn't kidding.

While I'm sure you've seen most of these waaaaaay before mine, some fics/writers I would definitely recommend are:

ANY OF COEUR'S WORK. Coeur al'Aran is frankly stupendously good, and ridiculously fast. If you crunch his numbers, he has put out over 3,126,000 words of work since He started, which is almost exactly three years ago (Nov 2017). The grand majority of this (around 2 million words) have been within the last year/18 months.
To put that in perspective, the entire Harry Potter series is around 1,084,170 words, across between 10 and 15 years. And all of A Song of Ice and Fire so far? That's about 1,770,000, spread over 15-20 years.
To write more than both combined, and make it coherent? And on top of a full time job? Dude's a genius bro.

Anything by Myareska is also great, although he leads a busy life and updates are slow on the ground sometimes.

Another favourite of mine is Elfen1012, particularly Choice: A RWBY College AU. Sweet, pleasant, and sometimes fluffy, a really pleasant read. Finished, so no need to wait! She's also writing what looks to be a great melancholic piece called Decision, which I look forward to reading more of, and she's doing a great back and forth with FawkesTP to make "Without you", a fic about emails between Yang and Blake.

Etheriell has some amazing fics as well, covering everything from fluff to serious mental health issues, and I love every single one. All finished.

The Last Sonata has written a wonderful trilogy of fics, called the Dissonance Trilogy. Very compelling, a great read, and quite melancholy. I love their style, and definitely worth a read. Once again, all are finished.

Another writer I like is sangheilitat117. While they do have a lot of... smutty fics, their serious ones (e.g. Bloodbirds, When Cannons Fade, Broken Statues) are amazing, and "Can You Feel My Heart?" was one of the first fics I really loved, and is still one of my all time favourite reads. Most of their stuff is finished, although Red Like Blood seems unlikely to be finished, and they've been dissuaded from some of their writing by unfavourable reviews.

There's more than a few others that I love, but these are the main ones off the top of my head, and I've focused on people with mostly finished work.
