The Commissar is a beginning writer with a lack of first hand experience and thus keeps to fantasy style and Gothic.

He is also a fond user of certain character templates that he reuses in stories, if he gets round to make more afterwards.

Though he likes dramatics he hates reality TV, he has no TV and hates TV in general. Which makes him support anything that doesn't look like some daft series.

I also believe that as writers we have the duty to create new things, not just stay true to cannon characters. Why not step outside of a character's personality and redefine the character and their views? Why not give that annoying one-dimensional villain a second side to him? No one is pure evil, it simply isn't possible, when we are born we are a blank sheet of paper, we have to even draw the lines which help us keep our hand writing straight, to give this newborn the ability to learn and adapt.

So, if you read bios' I encourage you to embrace your creativity! You are a writer! A creator! an artist if you will, if you want to make that character slightly different because you feel it would be fun then do it! Where is the point in fanfiction if it is simply an alternate ending to a pre-written story and nothing else?
