butterfly knives links The weapons i was thinking of for Kiba Inuzuka are actually known as butterfly swords, not knives. A butterfly knife is basically a glorified pocket knife, and pocket knives are not suitable for a heavy combat/tracker type ninja like Kiba is going to become in my story.

Ino Yamanaka's secondary weapon: Emei piercers (Emeici)

Ino's emei piercers are used to hold up her long hair in a tight bun. the bun is to keep her hair out of the way and hide the emei piercers until they are needed, when she pulls out the emei piercers her hair falls out into the ponytail seen in canon. the emei piercers serve to provide a weapon to surprise her opponent with if her primary weapon is lost. they are not normally used for anything other than decoration but when prompted she can be quite deadly with them.

twin G - boy with an almost reflexive power over earth, no known weapon

twin B - girl with an almost reflexive power over water, no known weapon

Mentoli linosho (men-toe-lie lee-no-show)

weapons specialist. Uses hidden weapons that he makes himself. His main weapon is a 3 foot staff that has two blades hidden inside, one at each end. He uses chakra to trigger the mechanism in the staff and make the blades extend out of each end. He also uses chakra to strengthen the blades and is working on combining it with his wind chakra to make them cut through almost anything. The blades work independently of each other so he can chose whether to use one or both depending on the situation. His fighting style is a cross between bojutsu and quarterstaff fighting. he created this fighting style himself so there are no other known practitioners. (look at the lightsaber duel in star wars episode 1 for a close approximation, i'm modeling his weapon after darth maul's twin bladed lightsaber)

Clans of Shiogakure

1-Animal wielding clan similar to the Inuzukas-it's cliche I know but they use cats (Clan Name: Nekoguremurin- literal translation = feline gremlin/cat gremlin) named because of a cat's tendency to cause problems and messes just for fun (at least most of the cats I know do that, hence the name gremlin) this clan is known for it's member's enjoyment of a good prank. Little known Off shoot of the inuzukas whose progenitors couldn't bond with a canine partner for some unknown reason.they use cats instead. Their cats look like normal house cats but in a similar fashion to the inuzuka's canine partners the cats reach the size of tigers. Close enough to dogs to have a similar fighting style. 2-Weather controlling bloodline clan. Suggested by EbonPurlight

3- Hyoton bloodline. Haku's clan. Wields ice and water like a waterbender. Additional mutation for earth wielding has just appeared in Twin G. Idea mostly present in canon, with the earth wielding portions created by Cross4m3 (myself) Twin B's water manipulation ability includes seeing through water/mist (Suggested by Blizzard of love), possibly being able to use water to see/sense enemies within or ontop of water (cross4m3), and water density manipulation without jutsus(kind of like the second Hokage's abilities but different)(Suggested in part by blizzard of love but refined by cross4m3 )

4- Linosho clan. Minor ability to use chakra to affect things outside their bodies to a limited degree (like using the force). Mentoli only known member at the moment, with mention of his mother present in the story. Most members of the clan are geniuses of some form, usually leaning more towards either combat or more peaceful exploits. Such as mentoli's ability to create weapons and fighting styles from scratch. Their extreme intellect is present to offset the lack of a bloodline useable in combat, and is put to work finding ways to use said bloodline. Tendency towards genius was unintentionally developed through the fact that only the smarter clan members with the ability survived long enough to have kids, thus pairing the chakra influencing ability with the extreme intellect in the genome. Said fact is what keeps the clan small, as well as their slightly obsessive tendencies towards their chosen areas. Mentoli is a more moderate member of the clan, able to actually interact with the public. This is one of the few clans to come to Shiogakure from Konoha, no clan members remained in konoha as all of them went to shiogakure when it was founded. Created by Cross4m3

5- Kaguya clan- Dead bone pulse bloodline. Reputation for being particularly violent. If present only the less violent members will be there. The more violent ones having been slaughtered by kiri when they fought back against the purges. Canon

6- chameleon aura bloodline. (name: Kamereon'ōra which literally means Chameleon aura) One of the newer bloodlines, appearing just before during and after the switch to the hidden village system in use today. Wielders have the ability to blend in perfectly with their environment. Can only be used completely when standing still. The ability goes into a passive state when moving, allowing for greater camouflage ability while moving but still allowing for detection. Wielders must learn to mask their chakra or else the ability is pointless. The ability was developed from overuse of the chameleon cloak jutsu for spying during the clan wars.

One of the only clans not to hold with blood purity principles since they know where their skill developed from. The jutsu responsible is still a closely guarded secret for this clan. This ability is centered in their chakra and CAN be turned on or off, but must be carefully honed with years of practice on the part of the wielder. The amount of clothes worn while using the bloodline denotes the person's skill with their bloodline, ranging from having to wear nothing at all in order to become completely invisible all the way up to being able to wear whatever they want and still be invisible. Most members are able to at least develop their skill to the point that they can wear a skintight bodysuit and still be invisible.

A side ability has developed for this clan wherein they can change clothes in almost the blink of an eye, a skill created and honed by years of embarassment while learning to wield their bloodline, because of this side ability most members first learn how to extend their chameleon aura around a small fanny pack to hold their clothes before learning how to extend it around clothing, working from undergarments to full outfits by way of the skintight bodysuit mentioned earlier. In order to deal with their abilities downsides most clan members either become loud and out going (like Naruto from canon) or quiet and unassuming (like Hinata from canon but with some confidence). Many wielders of this ability lose their sense of modesty by the time their ability is fully developed.

Because of the clothing difficulty this is rumored to be one of Jiraiya's favorite bloodlines, his most fervent wish is to catch on of the lesser skilled female members of this bloodline during their training. His second most fervent wish is to obtain the chameleon cloak jutsu for his perverse viewing pleasure, hopefully that will never happen. Created by Cross4m3.
